Well, looks like ZAFT has run out of last minute saves this time. What goes around comes around, and this time the coordinators are on the receiving end of Earth’s new superweapon - a death ray that can be redirected via a series of funnels strategically placed for maximum coverage. Though Jibril’s weapon misses the ZAFT capital due to some unforseen interfernce by Yzak’s team, it still manages to decimate many colonies. As to how ZAFT failed to detect this massive undertaking a long time ago…
I actually felt sorry for Meer in this episode, clutching her useless script while Lacus eloquently entrances the crowds with her zen-like poise. Seriously, how did people ever get the two of them confused? Well, I guess Lacus was a quite different at the beginning of GS; she was all bubbly and perky and whatnot. I’m so glad she didn’t end up falling into that stereotypical role.
For a second, I thought Gilbert was going to send Meer off in a shuttle, promising that no harm would come to her, and then order his officers to shoot it down in classic villain style. Needless to say, I was simultaneously relieved and somewhat disappointed when this did not occur.
Rounding up the miscellaneous thoughts, I’m starting to get used to the jarringly mismatched opening music, although I still think the scene with Shinn running in place is the dorkiest thing ever.

Was that a smile i saw on Gilbert before he got angry or was that just me.
It helps when Meer has big boobs so everyone didn’t really notice that she wasn’t the real Lacus. Actually, Yzak probably cause more damage when he try to stop them than if the beam actually hit the correct target. Only one colony would be destroyed instead of six caused by his interference.
You think those big boobs was a dead give away that she wasen’t the real Lacus, unless they all thought she had a boob job.You think hardcore fans would notice something like that.

Anyways, ya, I liked this episode, cuz it threw a curveball into the Chancellor’s plans, altho, things look he’ll find a way to use it to his advantage.
I also think that you’re correct no body, lol, hardcore fans shoulda noticed it tho, but remember that she was gone for almost 2 yrs with Kira, so who knows if she signing then as well…?? there’s something to think about.
I’m guessing that Gilbert really was happy about Jibril’s mass-destruction…with so much misery in the world, people will look to him for salvation, and thus he can unleash his “Destiny Plan” without much resistance.
Koopa, episode 45 is out but 46-50 hasn’t even aired yet. The hardcore fans were probably happy that Lacus got bigger boobs.
Personally, I like battle kimono over bust up. Still, the increase makes it easy to tell between the two (especially if Meer ever got really sneaky and changed her hairpin!).
five more weeks to the end of gundam seed destiny i wonder how it will end.episode 46 seems to be about rescuing meer.I’m looking forword to it.

You can only see her naked in hentai mangas I’m afraid.I’ve seen episode 46 yesterday,one thing that i thought was odd was aturan.He was barly able to walk by hinself in episode 43,got even more hurt by the end of episde 44,but seem really fine by episode 45.In episode 46 you get to see him be as good on the ground as he is on a gundam.How much time passed between these episodes.It didn’t look like a few days to me.What do you guys think.
