Glen’s still in a coma, and Reika is convinced her bad luck is to blame. Several unfortunate mishaps occur, but none as funny as when the black cat crosses her path. Fudo even spouts some garbage about how Reika’s eyes are like gushing water that no one can make tea out of, until the ripples of fear and hesitation disappear (wtf…). Meanwhile, some random kids on a bus get swallowed up into Lake Rosslig.
Reika decides to run away from Deava to protect everyone from her bad luck, but bad luck seems to keep following her. The train she’s on gets stuck on a bridge over Lake Rosslig, and the structure crumbles, leaving her hanging on for dear life. The various Vector Units launch to the lake when strange meta-quantum responses are detected in the area, but the gattai goes completely awry, and the Vector Units plunge into the lake (which is actually the mythical beast in disguise). Things look bad, until Reika finally decides to embrace and perfect her misfortune. She allows herself to plunge into the lake, and when Sirius gets crapped out of Vector Mars, she takes the helm. The team goes through a completely unpleasant gattai into Solar Mars, and Reika unveils the Unlucky Bottom Attack, that punches through the bottom of the inverted jellyfish. Finally Reika succeeds in gattai without losing anyone, and Deava actually stops a harvester for once. However, upon their return, they find that Glen has been transferred to the New UN Forces Medical Center, fulfilling the earlier tarot reading.
It was interesting getting to see some more Reika screentime, although not much really happened in this episode. They keep making a big deal out of Glen, but I bet nothing will come of it. I didn’t understand why Silvia was mad when Pierre suggested that she had bad circulation, and I want to know if Sirius is secretly jealous of Glen. In spite of the lack of development, it was nice to see Deava win for once.

I think you’re wrong about Glen not being a big deal. He’ll come back at some point to screw with everyone.
I bet you he’ll get captured by a Wing. Though up to ep 19 he still hasn’t been mentioned at all… hardly…
And just wait till ep 12 and 13 cos THOSE are the real good stuff.
Glen will probably get like one episode where he has lines and die. I mean, they can’t make any substantial screentime for Jun or Tsugume or even Rena, so I doubt Glen will really have any impact, other than as a plot device. Even the Wonder Twins will probably end up being more important than Glen.
He’s probably just there to add a little tension to Sirius x Reika.
