Natsuki has a terrible day once she finally shows up for classes. Apparently a lingerie burglar has been on the loose, and when Natsuki tries to make it through the day going commando, a convenient breeze exposes her in front of pseudo-crush Takeda (note the Kenshin scar). Although Takeda is later framed for the burglary and forced to spend a horrific session at the church praying, Natsuki learns that this absurd plot was actually the work of evil ORPHANS! She strings up her entire collection of lingerie as bait and, with help from Mai and Mikoto, succeeds in destroying the ORPHAN with the power of stock footage. Too bad she also destroyed all the underwear in the process.
I have to admit that this episode was actually pretty funny and enjoyable. Mixing equal parts Gremlin and cliche lingerie burglary works pretty well, and the episode has something for every Natsuki fan: Natsuki attempting to blow Nagi’s head off (yay!), Natsuki in compromising tentacle positions (ummm….), Natsuki having her underwear worn on Mikoto’s head (UMMMM….), and a seemingly unending display of various Natsuki facial expressions (see Momotato’s 10/21 collage). Even the plethora of characters whose names I don’t bother to keep track of are pretty funny in this episode. Overall, surprisingly enjoyable. Next episode appears to be about the next HiME appearing, but the narration is all about how to put on a bra (dump that meat in the cup… wtf?!)…

This episode singlehandedly turned Natsuki from a vaguely annoying cliche to the best character in the show.
Oh, and next time she needs to aim about 3 inches lower…
Best episode so far. Seeing Takeda pass out at the sight of Natsuki and the lingerie part had me laughing in stitches.
