Here we get back to the anti-terrorist action. A plot to kidnap the daughter of a high ranking official has been discovered, and the SWC uses the old swaparoo trick to make the baddies kidnap Claes instead! I don’t see why this works, as Claes looks nothing like the real daughter. They should have used Angelica instead! Ah well, it’s all about the sailor fuku anyways.
A full scale assault is carried out to wipe out the terrorist hideout, but it doesn’t proceed without mishap. Claes gets to show that she isnt just a weak experimental guinea pig, and we also see that even after the mind-wipe, she still unconsciously remembers her old mentor’s life lessons (”When you wear these, I want you to be the gentle Claes…”). I’m starting to think that Triela has nothing on this girl in terms of maturity.
In addition, Angelica has a mental breakdown after realizing she’s going to be mind-wiped again (or as she calls it, “dying”). Evidently the mechanical bodies don’t have a very long lifespan, which explains why her performance has been taking a sharp dip lately.
Sad stuff. But at least Henrietta’s FNP-90 gets some exercise!
