Episode 2 marked the appearance of the wonderfully engrish-filled OP and ED. The OP even begins with engrish puns off the characters’ names (Ai Ai Ai, I lovu uuuuu; Mai Mai Mai, My da ling; Mii Mii Mii, Hel puulu meee; Popotan!). The ED is a catchy, sugary piece, complete with singing dandelions.
This time, Mai is depressed about transferring to yet another school. Since the house teleports every few days, Mai never is able to develop deep friendships because she hates saying goodbye. Her classmate Konami is persistent, however, and Mai gets a new outlook on friends. This was a pretty touching episode, and I have to say that both Konami and Mai are good artists ^__~. I’m wondering if it is a rule that all visitors to the house must get naked and get harassed in the tub by Mii, though… Also, every time I see Ai talk to the dandelions, something primal in me just wants to weed-wack them.
I like watching the preview because I enjoy Unagi’s commentary. This time Unagi waxed poetic about magical girls and revealed her secret ambition to make herself the star of the show!
