Summary:
It all makes sense now...
Madara wastes no time summoning the Kyuubi under his control, but Minato has little trouble simply warping the Kyuubi’s blasts outside the village. Hiruzen musters up the village defenders, which is good because Madara seems intent on a one-on-one duel against Minato. Minato’s speed and teleportation abilities match up well against Madara’s phase shifts and eye-suck ability, but Minato figures that Madara cannot let the battle drag on too long because of the chakra drain of the Kyuubi summon.
Next I'm going to teleport to your sister's house, go on a date with her, and then never call her back
It comes down to a clash of speed, as Madara evades Minato’s thrown kunai and Rasengan strike to grab Minato’s shoulder. Right as Madara is about to suck Minato into that weird eye-dimension, however, Minato quickly teleports to the first thrown kunai and hammers Madara into the ground with the Rasengan.
Reaction:
Minato! Wow, interesting battle of haxxor powers! It makes me eager to see how Madara wears Minato out to the point where he has to sacrifice his life to seal the Kyuubi, since Minato’s combination of no-seal Rasengan and Flying Thunder God teleportation give his offense incredible speed and range. In this first clash, it looks like Minato’s great offense just beat Madara’s great defense, but defense wins championships. Madara definitely got served in this first flurry, though, since Minato timed the teleportation perfectly to hit Madara in between phase shifts. Damn, Minato would be hell to play against in Street Fighter…
However, Minato’s stealth skills leave something to be desired. How can you be surprised when the enemy notices you standing on a giant stone carving of yourself? Kyuubi would have been really pissed off if Minato was also holding a little Minato Nendoroid too…

Lol I’m just hoping that Madara doesn’t pull something else out of his ass and somehow dodge that awesome attack. Like by using one of those log-replacement techniques.

I’d be impressed if Madara actually dodges the blow by log replacement. I hope we don’t see any Sharingan haxxor techniques this time. Those things ruin fights.
I kinda want to see Madara kick things up to a whole new level by having a flashback within this flashback.
Oh man, having seen a log technique in a while! Thankfully most of the clone/decoy moves have been sparingly used, since things usually devolve into genjutsu first. I wonder if everything looks like it is lagging to Minato, cause dude is FAST.

That would make some sense, although Minato is very good with seals and he easily warped away the Kyuubi’s blast. Earlier in the series, I think it was mentioned that hostless tailed beasts were also pretty easy to beat.
When they animate this, they should show it twice-once the way the manga shows it and once from an outside perspective. The second would take about 2 seconds.
Well, in the anime it would take about 3 episodes…

I have a guess regarding Tobi’s real identity…it might be surprising for some…

Maybe Obito might have got some new powers…something like that..
Also a backup for my point is that Obito gave his left eye to Kakashi..
His right eye seemed to be crushed…
And tobi’s mask opens in his right eye too…
Well just plain guesses though..
In Masashi Kishimoto’s 2010 interview there were some sayings that 2010 is Kakashi’s year!
Maybe it has something to do with Obito as well!
See in this Akatsuki pic…Tobi resembles Obito somewhat..(Obito wears goggles like that as well…) Plus his name (Tobi and Obito…sound similar doesnt it?)

I know! It’s Obito’s body controlled by some body-jumping Yamanaka missing-nin from the Shodai’s and Madara’s generation who pulled a Kabuto with the latter’s remains! How’s that for crazy?
The Kabuto-route makes some sense too!
The weird thing is that they are making a big deal of Madara’s face, but we have seen his face already! He just doesn’t look like anyone we know, so we need the characters to tell us who the heck he is!
Personally, I don’t like the Obito route. I don’t think it makes much sense, unless Madara’s spirit did a little body-snatching.
Minato has pretty awesome techniques. Although I can’t wait until we’re done with the backstory, this is a pretty good fight.
They’ve also made me very curious as to how Madara is still alive.
Yeah, I suspect it’s body-snatching personally, or a case of identity theft. Still, Obito was such a scrub before his alleged death, so I’m leaning towards the first theory.

I’m so happy at getting to see Minato fight, especially since he’ so revered in the village. Good action is always welcome!
