Summary:
They never let otaku / join in any Green Squarve games
Apparently people in Ikebukuro have never heard of applicant screening or non-compete clauses, because everyone is surprised when Kyohei pops up in the Green Squarves meeting. With just 30 random Dollars friends, Kyohei cleans up the entire Izaya mess while Masaomi, Mikado, and Anri gush about what great friends they are. Meanwhile, Shizuo and Selty harass Horada until he gets pulled over by Kinnosuke and arrested.
It's not the length, but how you use it that matters
Saki reveals that she was already healed, but was playing sick to mess with Masaomi, per Izaya’s orders. However, she’s done with Izaya now, and so Saki and Masaomi bounce out of town together. Izaya gets Horada’s gun back from Higa, who was pretending to work for Horada, when he was really pretending to work for Izaya, when he was really under Anri’s control. Izaya easily eludes Anri and taunts her a bit, but on his way out, he gets a vicious punch in the face from Simon. Everything goes back to normal, and one day when Mikado is wasting time in the Dollars chatroom, a green icon with the screenname Bakyura shows up and flames Izaya. It’s Masaomi, and Mikado and Anri vow to wait for him to return, so that they can be pissed at him together.

This ending was so appropriate for the latter half of the series. It was dull, filled with super-convenient solutions, and studded with info dumps. So Namie tipped off Horada about Mikado because she was mad about losing the chance to have retarded babies with her brother? Saki called Simon whom she probably barely even knows to punch Izaya and show how awesome Simon can be when he isn’t standing around and doing nothing all season long? The entire massive conflict that Izaya spent all season planning was cleaned up in under an hour by Kyohei and 30 random guys he met in a Dollars chatroom? Izaya did that whole thing to get some bounty from Awakusu-kai? Wow, colorless me impressed.

At least we got some unexpected Selty fanservice, and I wonder if Shinra can keep future sexts to himself. I find it funny that Shinra likes Selty because he can stare at her body and never have to look at her face. It’s gonna be awkward if Selty gets her head back and realizes she doesn’t like Shinra, but I would lap up that dorama. Mikado was his usual boring, useless self again, but at least he reversed his rage-quit (or someone else put the site back up since Mikado is just a figurehead anyway). It was also good to see him friend-zoned even with Masaomi out of the picture.

Shizuo was the highlight of the episode as always! tore that car up! and Simon punching Izaya was funny to see, finally see him do something…little late thou.
Not the best ending I would have wanted but guess leaves it open for other things maybe.
Although he didn’t completely stop the car, I liked Shizuo’s scene. I especially like that he took a random confusing sign with him as he stood in the middle of the road. Shizuo’s convertible-conversion was pretty neat too, and his javelin skills rocked (on a moving target!) really hard.
Laughed out loud at the last caption. *votes for Sea Slugs*
