Summary:
Thus far, goals have been hard to come by in the World Cup
Coco’s Region and the principals of Fairy Tail continue to try to prevent the collision of Extalia and the giant Lachryma, but things aren’t going very well. Even Gazille puts his quest to bring home Pantherlily on hold so he can help out, but they are unable to stop the momentum of the Lachryma island.

Back on Extalia, Queen Shagotte appears looking like Sephiroth and Charle’s lovechild, and Shagotte’s secret is revealed. Shagotte only has one wing and a slight ability to see into the future, and in fact the Exceed are nothing but a bunch of flying cats. Shagotte acted like she had crazy awesome Death Note powers, but really she just pretended to cause the deaths of people she already knew were going to die. Although Shagotte is willing to die at Charle’s hand for what she did, Charle tells the Exceed to buck up and do what they can to save their home. The Exceed actually take a moment to stop throwing rocks at Charle and Wendy to tearfully ponder Charle’s words.
Reaction:
I don’t agree with Natsu’s group directly opposing the momentum of the lachryma island. It would make sense from a physics standpoint to attempt to slightly deflect the giant projectile up, down, or to the side to prevent a collision, although perhaps Natsu is trying to prevent the crystallized guild from colliding with anything at all. Still, first things first! Obviously the most likely conclusion is that the Exceed will unite their flying feline power to push the two islands apart, and save both Fairy Tail and their home.
The revelation about Shagotte’s power was pretty funny in a Back to the Future Biff kinda way. I guess we’ll soon learn the true purpose behind Charle’s mission and why Shagotte only has one wing. I’m also curious about whether or not Gazille is gonna be able to bring Pantherlily home, since Gazille’s quest for a cat of his own has been one of the most intriguing side stories in Fairy Tail thus far.

I am both shocked and amazed that you are blogging on FT. I did not knowest thou wast reading such a tale from ye local manga bard.
Anyhoo, glad to see you’re a fan. And yes the anime is catching up to the manga. I was never really a fan of One Piece, but FT somehow hit my happy spot so i’m gonna keep reading although I know eventually this will probably get long and drawn out to infinity like OP. At least this one has a more interesting premise.
I really love how Gajeel is envious of the other dragonslayers and their eksheed buddies (kind of reminds me of my FFXI Adventuring buddy), and how he wants to make the “big” cat his very own. Then he can feel like an official dragonslayer! “All the other guys have one, why can’t I have one too!?” He just needs a furry to hug.
I occasionally blog about it, but no one ever comments so I sometimes let several chapters fly by without posting.
The stuff is gonna hit the fan after Fairy Tail wins and Charle goes back and wants to get with Pantherlily instead of Happy. Suck it Natsu!
Ah yeah I can see why. Sometimes a blog gets booted down so fast we readers miss it xD. With things like Drrr, FMAB, etc we hardly notice it xD.
I really do want to see Fairy Tail get released and watch them wreak havoc on the land… that there “king” has got it comin’.
