Summary:

Naruto is so happy that he pushes back the dark fox emo, and starts spamming Rasengan attacks. This is followed by an extremely large Sage mode Rasengan that separates the Kyuubi’s chakra-fox from his mind-fox, and Naruto greedily slurps up the chakra-fox to go Sage of the 6 Paths mode. Surprisingly, the mind-fox portion is still quite powerful, but before he can launch a giant black ball of energy, Naruto uses his new power to simply reactivate the seal and lock away the dark mind-fox portion. As the mind-fox is locked away, Naruto tells the Kyuubi that he won’t be harmed as long as he doesn’t drop the soap in jail, and to just wait…

Before Kushina goes, she decides to drop a bombshell on Naruto. Apparently, Kushina used to be the vessel for the Kyuubi.

Well, this explains why Kushina is so good at chaining up the Kyuubi. However, it brings up a few new questions. Was she the previous jinchuuriki back when she was kidnapped? If so, that is pretty pathetic, considering a bunch of scrubs were able to capture her. The big question, of course, is how did the Kyuubi escape in the first place? It was always implied that the Kyuubi was just rampaging around looking for a place to grab a burger late at night, but perhaps Kushina failed to extract the Kyuubi’s chakra (because she didn’t have a rapping oxtopus lover and a caring mom to help her).
The part where Kushina distracts the Kyuubi by tightening the chain on the Kyuubi’s thigh was such a missed opportunity. If she’d just squeezed the chains on his balls, the Kyuubi would have been easily defeated without even requiring Sage mode. Can’t wait to see Naruto’s new powers, though!

One thing that definitely needs to be cleared up immediately is if she gave birth to Naruto before or after the Kyuubi broke free.
I’m gonna assume that they sealed the Kyuubi inside Naruto inside Kushina, and then she died giving birth to Naruto. Or she died giving birth to Naruto and the Kyuubi burst out and Minato sealed the Kyuubi inside Naruto. That would explain why she waited until Naruto succeeded in sucking out the Kyuubi’s chakra before telling him this bit of information, as Naruto would have been pretty depressed to learn that he killed his mom.
I think she gave birth to him when the Kyuubi went rampage, than they sealed him into Naruto.
Or she gave birth to both Naruto and the Kyuubi at the same time, and Minato realized she had been cheating on him.
Also makes me wonder if Kabuto has a Kushina zombie…
BTW, wonder what Kisame is gonna do now that Naruto has Comma Mode. I’m sure it will give him pause!
Oh right, Kisame is still around watching the show. I guess he’ll just have to get Killer Bee first.

and i still wonder what kind of power that itachi gave to naruto, Since Itachi think naruto is a gay for his brother ;P
Well, Sasuke is already immortal and the second-ultimate eye technique user in the world. If Naruto didn’t become the ultimate Sage to match him and complete the parallel, the Sage of the Six Paths infodumps a while back would have been for naught.
To think that Nagato was just a setup!
I don’t think that she died giving birth to Naruto. I think that Madara extracted the Kyuubi after Naruto was born effectively killing Kushina. I also believe that Madara is really Obito. My theory is that Kabuto knows this and the body that he ressurected that really pissed Madara/Tobi/Obito off was either the real Madara, or Rin. You know, Rin, the girl who was the third team mate on Kakashi’s team that Obito was in love with. Kakashi has stated so many times that he wasn’t able to save Rin as well so I’m assuming that we have yet to see that story because it is important to the main story line. Hence Madara = Obito.
This theory also makes sense, what with the one-eyed masks of Obito, although the last time we saw him he was a scrub Uchiha trapped under a rock (unless Madara possessed Obito’s body).
Madara taking it out of Kushina seems so Harry Potter-esque, although I guess it didn’t go as planned for him either.
Did not expect that from Naruto’s mother. It’s an interesting plot point though and I’m wondering if Madara had anything to do with sealing Kyuubi in Naruto.
That picture of Naruto was awesome. If that became his form when he partially released the Kyuubi, that would be SO. AWESOME. But it’s probably not, so…Meh.
I really didn’t expect that curveball; in fact, I don’t think anyone did. It raises a lot of questions; Kushina’s gonna have a lot of explaining to do.
Maybe the Kyuubi went on a rampage during child birth? However, I don’t think it was that easy for a full form Bijuu to come out and play. Kushina being a host pretty much makes sense though I agree with your point that if she had become aware of Jinchuriki trait, it was lame to be rescued. But, who knows, maybe she always had the hots for Minato? =P
I’m more interested in finding out where this Sage of six paths would go with Naruto and how Itachi’s given powers would play their part.
Yeah, I thought the 6 paths thing was kinda odd, and really diminishes the importance of Nagato. It’s also a little odd that Naruto can do complex seals now, but maybe it just applies to his own seal that he has the key for. Can’t wait to see this form in battle outside of Naruto’s mind, though!
