So Motoi’s dad was killed when the Ghost Busters extracted the oxtopus from the previous jinchuriki and resealed it. Killer Bee was selected as the next jinchuriki and Motoi resented Killer Bee because Motoi disagreed with the whole idea of jinchurikis. Motoi got so emo he even tried to stab Killer Bee in the back, but the attempt was so pathetic that Killer Bee remained just as friendly with his ex-best friend even after the assassination attempt.

Back in the present, Naruto reflects on the story and then the giant squid attacks again. Killer Bee saves everyone before acting like he didn’t know about Motoi’s hater past.

Uggggghhh, Motoi should never be allowed to appear in this manga again. This story was so stupid and just a rehash of Naruto’s own past. We didn’t even learn about how Killer Bee smokes Killer Weed to chill out his oxtopus. In fact, the only thing we learned is that Motoi is a total loser. Kisame is probably disgusted with how things are going, but he can’t even do anything about it. I guess Naruto mistaking the squid for Killer Bee was faintly humorous, but Motoi’s tale of woe just left a bad taste.

Wow, that was really, really, really dumb.
Motoi’s attempt at Bee’s life was so pathetic that no one (including Bee) even remotely thought it was an assassination. Motoi is just flattering himself. Hence Bee’s obliviousness.
Let’s get Kisame in here already. Hopefully next chapter quickly gets through evil Naruto. There’s been too much emo already.
Seriously, Killer Bee probably thought Motoi was helping him practice for real assassination attempts. I’m ready for Kisame to lose it and jump out yelling, “STFU you idiots, I’m going to kill all of you!”
i dont understand the part on page 11 where theres a thought box saying “bastard….he’s just using me…” is that supposed to be naruto talking? what?
I guess evil Naruto is going to pop up with snarky dialog every now and again. It’s like inner-Sakura, only not as useless. I found the part with the two-tone guy giving young Motoi and Killer Bee the news kinda odd, but the chapter was so crappy I didn’t bother thinking about it for very long.

This chapter (and the previous one) have been so crappy and dull I couldnt even be bothered writing about them……..stuff needs to happen soon, I want an Evil!Naruto rampage or some Kisame carnage!

Honestly, this chapter was much worse than the last.
That’s strike three for Motoi, he should have just been eaten by the Squid. It’s like Kishi is trying too hard for emotional scenes or something. That was pathetic.
The only high point was the funny bit where Naruto thought the squid was Bee. Other than that, this was totally forgettable.
…I have nothing left to say, except my respect for this manga just went down a notch or two.
Every single filler arc and every single host has the same stupid back story. Are were really supposed to have some emotional response the 12th time we learn about how hard it is to be a host and how fucking stupid the villagers are?
after reading that chapter, I realized that assassination attempt was so pathetic it was like a slap in the back and bee didnt even see the kunai so it was really a slap in the back
I was looking forward to some good backstory of Bee but now, really? Motoi of all the people? Compared to this even the anime fillers look interesting, which is saying something! =.=;;
Seriously, when is naruto finally gonna start kicking ass again? It’s been too long since the obliteration of Pain.
