K-ON!! 03

"Haha, Brown Baggers!"

Spoiler Inside Show

Ritsu is having a big fitsu over her stage presence during live performances; so much that she is willing to ditch the drums. As recent studies show, the only thing standing out is her large forehead, so she decides to try out some other instruments to regain her claim to glory. First up is the guitar, and while the cute and scrumpdiddlyumtious Azusa is there to teach her, she still fails at plucking the strings. Next up is the keyboard, but all she could do is make it talk. Like in PeeWee’s Playhouse.

"SHUT UP AND KISS ME!!!"

Yui suggests other methods to make her more noticeable, like placing her front and center of the stage or doing that Fat Joe dance where you Lean Back (as in, lose some weight *BA DUM PSH*). All of Yui’s methods were unsuccessful, so Ritsu heads (hyuk) home for some quiet time. After giving it more thought, she bangs – she bangs on her notepad and she moves -she moves figures she’ll just stick (hyuk) with the drums. Also cause she has a block-head. THE END!

*smooch~* and/or "Kiss De Gurl! Tralalalalala~*forgot the rest of the lyrics...*"

Impressions:

It was very cute having Azusa as Ritsu’s teacher, but that was probably the only cute thing about this episode. While I may receive a lot of (okay, maybe just a little) flak for saying this, I am glad the Ritsu-centric episode is done and over with. She needs to bang those sticks on her head cause something’s wrong with her. All she did was complain-complain-complain throughout the entire episode, and I’m surprised no one bitch-smacked dat ho’ cross da face! Idda’ done it!

“WAH I DON’T WANNA PLAY THE DRUMS” *20 minutes later* “Okay, I wanna play the drums”. Talk about ass-backwards! And by ass-backwards, I mean her head is her ass. ‘Cause it’s really big… Yeah… Speaking of head, like in previous episodes, Ritsu is only good at giving head, and I mean it this time.

Anyway, that’s an interesting way to hold a fork, but I won’t blame her ‘cause she’s left-handed and Japanese (/racist). I guess that rumor of Japanese youngsters using foreign utensils was a lie, but it’s all gravy. Hopefully Ritsu can get her act together in future episodes.

"Yes, for the last time, I'm the same guy from Pokemon Snap. Now shut up and say cheese, DAMMIT!!!" - "MAAAAIIISPAAAACEEE!!!" - "GODDAMMIT!!!"

Man, Ritsu can get really annoying whenever she gets jealous of something. I can understand being sad about not getting attention (not even a little) but we can’t get what we want. I’m surprised you didn’t talk about Sawa chan radiating, and teaching us the importance of reading the ingredients label for skin products. I didn’t expect her to have an allergic reaction to it, but I wonder how bad her face got after it.

LOL! Opps… err, yea, I probably should have noted that. To be honest, I saw this ep around the time it came out (2-3 weeks ago?), but then finals and other projects hit me at a fast pace. I sorta forget specific details when I don’t write them down, but I did remember all the things I hated about this episode, so my post is mainly about that. At least I remembered this Upper-Lip-Cherry-Chapstick scene… Enjoy!

Stanky

Btw, next week should be my last week of Finals, so my posts will continue to be late for awhile. I do apologize and things will get back on track once finals are done with.

Finals? What are those? I seem to remember such a term a couple years back when I was still taking classes, but can’t quite pin down what it means anymore..

:P

I have to agree. This was not an episode I enjoyed. Ritsu is my least favorite of the 5, and seeing her bitch an moan for an entire episode was torture.

I like her genki-ness as long as it’s not annoying. Even the other K-ONERS were somewhat annoying, especially this:

Mio: NO DON’T PLAY THE BASS CAUSE…cause I’m the only one who can!
Yui: Awww, that’s so sweet and conceited, Mio!
Mio: Thanks ;D… wait what?

They need to give Ui more screen time!

I know, when is she going to join the light music club. She has the skills….she got her looks, her pretty face, and don’t forget about body language, hah!! Sorry, I couldn’t help myself. Is Ui in any clubs right now?

MAN, THAT GIRL CAN STICK TO WASHING DISHES AND MAKING YUI HER SANDWI-I MEAN… Don’t forget about her bust size!

Also, I’m glad I’m not the only one making Disney references ;P

Yea, the only time I’m enjoying her screen time is when she’s using her squeaky voice. That totally makes it up for me, but just a little.

I like it better when she’s not talking. And giving head.

Ritsu is actually my second favourite character after Yui; I was won over by the hilarous episode when she thought Mio’s lyrics were someone’s love letter to her. I enjoyed learning about how she got started on drumming and seeing how she realized that she can’t quit it – big points also for bringing out Mio’s Bass Is Mine and Mine Alone speech.

I usually like Ritsu and her big head, but she seemed too selfish in this episode. We all have our cry-baby moments, but this was almost for nothing.

Maybe what I’m trying to say is that the episode felt too predictable. We all know Ritsu is not going to ditch the drums for another instrument, so it made it more difficult to endure the rest of the episode. I did like Yui’s “JAKA-JAKA-JAN” aka “Lean Back” move. I knew Yui was a Certified G!

Mio does have a heavenly voice ;_;

I thought Mio’s bass monologue… gasp! was annoying. I don’t get why anyone could hate Ritsu; she DOESN’T get attention. The only one who gets attention at all is Mio. (ugh) who I somewhat hate at times… but when it comes to no attention, MUGI has everyone beat. She’s the prettiest wallpaper I’ve ever seen.

And I know all you fanbrats want to gouge my eyes out and stick a fork up my ass for saying I don’t like Mio. But honestly, it bugs me just as much to hear people complain about Ritsu.
-Peace OUT!
