Naruto finally experiences the horror of a genjutsu battle
Summary:
Motoi looks for any reason to gossip
Naruto fights against Hollow-Naruto, and predictably it’s a stalemate. Naruto realizes he facing the darkness within his heart that allows the Kyuubi to crash every party and mess everything up, but he can’t figure out how to beat himself. Not having the time to overcome the obstacle with brute force and guts, Naruto turns to Motoi to butter Killer Bee up and get a step-by-step walkthrough.
It was over a girl, wasn't it?
Instead, Naruto just gets a trip down memory lane, as Motoi is more of a frenemy than a friend. Killer Bee had a similar childhood to Naruto, but strove for greatness because his big brother was Raikage. Most of the jinchuriki are either related to or married to a Kage, but unfortunately for Naruto, all his Kage relatives died when he was a kid. Anyway, the reason Motoi can’t help Naruto is because Killer Bee is busy beating up gigantic bears and also Motoi tried to kill Killer Bee 30 years ago.
Reaction:
Wow, that was boring… I should have expected this, although it’s always fun to watch other characters complain about how stupid genjutsu-type battles are to everyone on the outside. This is clearly just an excuse to give a Killer Bee flashback without any dumb raps, so that Naruto can make nice with his foxy friend the way Killer Bee is homies with his oxtopus.
BTW, can you imagine how annoying young Killer Bee must have been as a bratty little brother? Damn, I bet Motoi wasn’t the only one who tried to kill him.

Definitely a boring chapter. Motoi talks too much.
I hope we cut this inner struggle crap soon and get to the good stuff.
reminds me of Bleach episode 124….
I guess it was an ok chapter, not much to chew now since killer bee is doing his own thing. I wish he would be more straight forward then becoming the whole serious adult character all of a sudden.
I’m actually getting annoyed how Naruto is acting, I know he wants to get stronger, but to ask for help so annoyingly is just killing it for me.
*facepalm*
Motoi bores the crap out of me……All this talk of beating the devil within is running thin.
Here’s hoping that the next obstacle won’t be as hollow or cliched.
