Thanks for hooking me up with sawako.not.sadako.1231@xxx.com Chizu-chan!
Summary:
You have waffled for the last time Shota!
After her dad reveals that Santa doesn’t exist, Sawako is faced with the even more frightening prospect of not seeing Shota over winter break. In spite of her best efforts, Sawako flounders when she tries to say something meaningful to him before he leaves class to go karaoke with the guys; sorry babe, bros before Sawakos. Fortunately, Sawako has Chizuru and Ayane on her side.
Chizuru sets up all of Sawako’s phone settings and they trick her into thinking there will be a group get-together with Ryu at the shrine. Calmed by the possibility of a group outing, Sawako gathers the courage to invite Shota, and of course he accepts. However, after dolling Sawako up with makeup, a new hairdo, and a birthday present pin, Chizuru and Ayane happily skip out and reveal it was all a ploy to hook Sawako up with a New Year’s Eve Birthday Date with Shota. Sawako’s afraid Shota will want to bail once he learns it’s a date, but he acts like nothing’s wrong.
Reaction:
Sawako with Ume-hairstyle is like having your cake and eating it too
This was a cute episode, as we are finally getting somewhere with the Sawako x Shota action. For all of Sawako’s overreactions, I was surprised she did not even flinch when Chizuru called her “Sawa”. Meanwhile, that Ayane is so clever, concocting a love plan that even Shota and Sawako can’t mess up. I can’t wait to see what Ayane has planned for the lovebirds on Valentine’s Day. Damn I feel bad for Ayane’s loser ex-boyfriend!
It’s a good thing Sawako’s mom laid a guilt trip on Kuronuma-otousan, because he’s gonna flip out when he finds out that Sawako went out on a date. I can only imagine his reaction when he snoops through Sawako’s phone and finds all the sexts. Also, the reason Ryu isn’t mad about being ditched is cause he slyly scheduled a date with Shota’s dog. BTW, why’d they bother even showing Ume this episode; she has no chance anymore.

Hopefully his penchant for awkward misunderstandings doesn’t also extend to this.
“Sawako, honey, I love you and all, but this text message is a tad over the line . . .”
Although he didn’t label as such, Kabi-tan already created this weeks Kawaii Sawako pic of the week:

… with the most stupid explanation for picking a retarded email address like that ^_^;
Good lord!
