I love how Kakashi only tells Sakura to leave
Summary:
I always found it ironic that Naruto uses the tight, neat Rasengan and Sasuke uses the flashy, uncouth Chidori
Doesn’t it look like Sasuke is a Hollow in that picture? Anyway, it’s a replay of what happened when Sasuke ragequit the Konoha guild years ago as everyone tries to cheer Sasuke up and Sasuke replies that he is going to eat their children. Kakashi just comes out and tells Sakura that her plan sucked because Sasuke already got the H1N1 vaccine while he was staying at Orochimaru’s, and Karin decides that maybe it’s time to stop worshiping Sasuke and give online dating another try.
That's a false dichotomy! Nice try, Sasuke.
When Naruto learns that Kakashi wants to kill Sasuke, Naruto restrains his teacher and leaps in to meet Sasuke’s attack. Once again Chidori meets Rasengan, resulting in some weird in-mind discussion where Sasuke reiterates that the only way to cleanse the Uchiha name is to wipe out Konoha. Hopefully Naruto has a plan to not wind up unconscious in the water during this mulligan, but at least this time Sasuke won’t be flapping away with goofy wings and bad face makeup.

Eh, this was kinda a boring chapter, but at least Sakura didn’t screw anything up this time. I’m still eager to see what Naruto’s plan is, and I figure it will involve him schooling Sasuke with some Sage mode, only to have Madara sweep Sasuke to safety. Also, I always find these in-mind discussions to be so dumb, but at least nobody was naked a la Gundam.
I know some people dislike how Sasuke is all stereotypical crazy villain guy now, but I like it. He’s like a rabid dog striking out against everyone, and yet he’s so skilled in battle that his complete lack of strategy is that much more appalling. Sasuke is what Sakura would be if she actually had any good moves. Plus Sasuke’s emo just makes Madara’s manipulations that much more delicious.

Lolol I totally overlooked the fact that only Sakura was asked to leave.
But yea, as I said in my post, I do like how calm Naruto was. He should’ve left Kakashi to fight Sasuke, since Kakashi seemed like he had a hidden technique ready for the occasion. He seemed pretty damn confident, so it’s either a new technique or he know that Sasuke is blind/half dead.
Yeah, Naruto is all mellow like Jiraiya was when he got old. You’d think that Kakashi would have copied all kinds of new techniques during these last few years, but it looks like Naruto is going to hog all the action scenes until someone comes in to save Sasuke.
In a different translation, I think Kakashi tells them both to skedaddle, but that panel was too good to pass up.
Im guessing that the translator in this case is also “in” with the Sakura joke lol
I differ , i believe that Sakura did screw up, she did poisoned someone, remember Naruto’s little cut on his chick ? i just hope he´s also got the vaccine too, on the other hand knowing Sakura, she probably fail with the poison too.
Oh dear god, hahaha that would be awesome! The 9-tail chakra would probably defeat any poison, though.
Or both Naruto and Sasuke will be worn down and we’ll have an even fight?…
Tthe fight will probably still end in a no contest.
Maybe Sakura will accidentally drop more sleep bombs, knocking everyone out. Then, Karin will take her revenge on Sasuke for breaking (and stabbing) her heart.

I tried thinking of a reason why Aquaman was useful, but several hours later I came to the conclusion that you are right. I’m not sure we’ve even seen Sakura do any difficult healing operations yet.
I think I would prefer if Naurto just went with option A. Be a hero to the village and to the Naruto fans!
That would be hilarious if Naruto answered, “I’m gonna be the hero, dattebayo!” and just punched Sasuke in the face!!!
I would much prefer it if he punched him in the balls (if Oro didn’t make him immune to that too, or taken it out for himself)
I’m all out of witty remarks since it’s Friday, so here’s a prediction: the next few chapters are IT for the naru/ske battle, naruto won’t use any sage mode but rather Itachi’s gift, whatever that is. the real villain here is not Sasuke but Madara, remember Kishi didn’t even intend to make Sasuke in the first place until someone suggested it him as a ‘counter’ to Naruto. he also has difficulty drawing Sasuke as he said himself, all the more reason to….eh ok, that’s going too far but anyway, with Sasuke going blind what’s his use to Madara? for all his awesome techniques and Orochimaru-enhanced body he’s going blind, not very ideal when fighting a shinobi, let alone an alliance of the most powerful villages/Kages.
to Madara Sasuke’s a burned card, why wold he bother?
for all of it’s taking a major part of the story, Sasuke’s love/hate relationship with Naruto/Konoha is subset of Madara’s love/hate relationship with Konoha, or the larger theme of Naruto as a bridge/healer/savior, notice how the battles have progressively lost their strategic flare, most attacks now are blunt frontal assaults or simply repetitive-sharingan porn-, compare that to say the zombie twins battle where technique and strategy were both balanced and presented as seamless complements.
Kishi is obviously running out of cool jutsu ideas here, and making Sasuke partially blind is a precursor to his final defeat, or rather his being saved form the clutches of Madara.

The interesting thing about the blindness is that it robs the Uchiha clan of that which makes them special. Researchers would later learn that all 95% of the Uchiha clan had Syphilis.
