Hidamari Sketch x ☆☆☆ – 07 HSxHM 07 i will claim her dis claim her

DISCLAIMER: She's only a freshmen... and/or "I will Claim her dis Claim her!"

YO, CHECK IT OUT! It’s Chika the Chick from Rydell High *cricket cricket*… So anyways, the entire episode is dedicated to Sae’s little (but curvacious) sister, Chika. As any other guest to the Hidamari apartments, she is paying a visit to eat free food and chat amongst her Rectangular Sistahs.

As the episode continues, the Hida-Gals visit Kawasemi Park, but instead of showing us what happened during their visit, they only chat about it while eating snacks (The animators were lazy again). Long story short, someone finally ate that Green thing that spies on Yuno whenever she is taking a bath. THE END!

Hidamari Sketch x ☆☆☆ – 07 HSxHM 07 na ZOO na

"Girl, what is UP with your hair?! Looks like a na-ZOO-na went through it! *BA DUM PSH* Eyyyyy!!"

Impressions

This was an okay episode, but too much Chika is probably a bad thing since I’m a lolicon since she’s totally stealing everyone’s thunder. She has short hair like Yuno, big boobs like Yuno, big head like Yuno, a better personality than Yuno, the list goes on and on! Episodes involving Chika usually focus on the relationship between the sisters, but this time Sae wasn’t needed. Chika the Churro-Eater fit so well that you would think she was an Up Town Girl livin’ in a Hidamari World.

Speaking of Billy Joel, WHAT THE HELL WERE THEY WEARING?!?!… I LOVED IT!!! Nothing speaks ridiculous better than a nagging wife and her husband who never listens!

It was great seeing Chika and Nazna bond, but sometimes it seems a little forced. For instance, if this were real life and Nazna said “We went to a field trip in middle school”, there would be dead silence since no one would know how to react to it. It’s really hard for shy people like Nazna to keep a conversation going, so I’m glad Chika was there to help. In fact, it reminds me of the time TOTALM@STER gave me advice on becoming more proactive, but he was only advertising acne cream…

Hidamari Sketch x ☆☆☆ – 07 HSxHM 07 one more chance 8

I'm dancing where the sun don't shine, happy as a cricket. "What did you wish for", I asked. "It doesn't matter. I've already won the ticket". I didn't understand, standing under his hand, my wish was "Let me learn more from this man". Jesus was a Gangsta Jigg. He's bustin' for the Customers

Haha, I try my best! Also, it wasn’t the best episode but I did like the cute moments. Like that cat eating the Green-thing!

Who doesn’t love sisterly-love?

Also, I wonder how it feels to have a younger sibling who is more “well-endowed” than you are. In this case, I wouldn’t mind. *HONK HONK*

I wonder if Chika is popular in Japan, because this episode was 100% anime-original, it wasn’t bad, but it may take the space of some way better storylines

I know she’s popular with me Well, she’s a purple-haired Yuno, so what’s not to like?

If anything, I like Chika’s expressions more ’cause it gives me good material for out-of-context captions!

What, no mention of the comparing the characters to animals part? No post on this episode is complete without Mi-nya-ko!

Well, I’ve been trying to aim for a smaller/shorter/not-wide-faced length for each post, and unfortunately, everything I wanted to include is either erased or kept in my head. Fact: I had 30 screenshots (w/captions) ready for this post, all resized too, but Kabitzin recommended that I keep a nice, short, boot-to-da-head post style. I agree, since it saves time (hurr) and I can concentrate on the more entertaining captions. Statistics show that 9 our of 10 Sea Slug readers don’t like Soulja Boy but would be interested in reading my captions. See how confusing and “that-made-absolutely-no-sense” the last sentence was? But statistics are important! We should follow statistics, so to save our readers the trouble, we decided that we should never mention statistics to our readers because they are really confusing. Also people hate numbers and my name

Another interesting example is the use of different pic-sizes for the click-pics. You may notice that the pictures for the “Impressions” section of this post have different lengths. Not all of them are different, but since they are not pin-up shots, you start to wonder, “Hey, why is this Yuno pic smaller than the Churro-Eater pic?”, and then others will think, “There has to be a reason! Why would he go through the trouble of changing it’s size?! That’s just annoying” but since I am very considerate, I shall not tell you why I did that, cause if I did, you readers will try to figure out how my posts work. It’s a very complicated infrastructure, but you readers shouldn’t worry about that. All you need to know is that I like linking to this guy a lot. I love him.

One more interesting tip to mention: I’m the only Sea Slug who uses the “Impressions” heading, as opposed to “Reaction”.

Soooooooooo in short, I wanted to talk about the animal-crackers, but I had to keep the post short. I also wanted someone to COMMENT about it instead! AND YOU DID JUST THAT!!! YEAAAAAAH!!! =D It’s all part of da “PLAN”. I don’t talk about it = someone in the comment section will = more ad revenue for Sea Slugs!
