Those weird, tiny, eyeless, maybe-imaginary old men from Pin’s hallucination show up and recap episodes 1-15 with barely any commentary. Thank god they never started an anime team blog.

This was a very lazy recap episode. Only watch it if you want to quickly catch up on episodes 1-15 or if you are a busy blogger and know that you can get a post out of the episode in under 10 minutes.

Some of Sawako’s scary looks were more frightening this time around since it’s been so long since she’s gone full Sadako. Other than that… I agree with your lazy verdict. I think they could have produced a fantastic recap episode by having Ryu or Pin narrate the episode from their point of view, but… they didn’t. The one new thing we did learn is that Pin really needs to take out his trash, and I’m not sure that’s something we needed to see. Oh well.
