Jiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii~~~~~~~~~~
Please stop that. It's creeping me out.
The K-ON(efivenine)ers are all invited to play at a Live House, but Mio and Azusa are too embarrassed to attend. Mugi suggests that it would be fabulous to “perform the year away”, and this encourages them to brush their fears to aside. Despite being rich, she really meant to say “Wouldn’t it be great for the DVD/Blu-Ray sales?”. Either outcome sounded like a plan, so off they went to register for the Live House Performance.
"Sorry Nodoka. Contract says I have another season..."
At the Live House, the gang is totally nervous about their “Afternoon Teatime” stage-name and even consider changing it to “BeforeMidnight CoffeeTiempo”, but the very attractive host (?) compliments their very cute and moneymoe-grabbing name. The gang felt a new burst of confidence, but not until they saw what they were up against. “HOLY F@CKIN’ SH!T, BATMAN!!! HOW ARE WE GONNA COMPETE AGAINST THAT?!?!” The gang thought to themselves, “Oh wait, we have another season! That means we can’t die in this episode!”, so instead of actually practicing, they do trivial (yet cute) things like deciding what to wear, getting their hairs did, noticing the words “KIRA” on the screen and making a lame English-Dubbed Death Note reference involving a potato chip and epic-ly eating it, sticking stickers on their metal gears, making money, sharing sex stories, and being the best anime EVAR! THE END!
"I LOVE MONEY!!! (Fuwa-Fuwa Taaaiime!) EAT SOME COOKIES!!! (Buy the MerchandIiIiIiise!!)"
"Hey Tony, it's the Year of the Tiger!! That's GRRRRRRRRRRRRRREAT!!!" and/or "Oh boy, that Sanrio joke is so old and yet no one understands it..."

Impressions
It’s time to cut our skirts by 2 centimeters ’cause K-ON IS BACK! (and maybe break our nails and fix them with glue). For K-ON standards, this was an alright episode, so you can expect chit-chatting, eating snacks, not practicing, getting their hairs did, you know, it’s what girls do!
Why was the Live House flyer at the bottom of that window? It may seem silly in America, but in Asian countries it’s fine since everyone is short… okay I’m not sure why anyone would put a flyer down there, but it’s eye-catching enough so I guess it’s alright. Speaking of the ad, I liked Mio’s-Head-Explosion, and it was interesting viewing some scenes through her eyes. As she noted, they would have never connected with the other groups if it weren’t for Yui’s playfulness, Ritsu’s middle school connections, and Mugi’s treats (Also, Azusa did nothing. She’s lazy, please don’t say it). There was definitely a shade of melancholy in this episode, and I wonder if Mio will finally “open her door” in the upcoming season.
As a final note, Yui reminded me of myself when she was handing out autographs. I also told others (back in my Sufoki-Days) that I would make it big in the anime-blogging world, but no one believed me! Now everyone’s jealous that I’m a Sea Slug!

Azusa is indeed like a tiger. In bed.
Congrats, Shin. I don’t know how you did it (and you’re power level ain’t even 159!), but you managed to grab the 15,059th comment! *epic movie music*
annnnnnnnnnnnnd that’s pretty much it =P
The other bands will eat the K-on! girls. ;-;
Not if I eat them fir-I MEAN… The other bands were pretty groovy
As I was watching I kinda got my hopes up to see….you know, a LIVE?
Something that I didn’t see as much as I wanted during 13 episodes.
But NO. They didn’t show shit in this OVA either. Fucking Kyoto.
To be honest, when I first saw those K-ON DVD “specials” (and/or cheaply animated 2 min eps), I was expecting the least from this OVA, but instead I was pleasantly surprised! Having said that, I too wanted to see a better performance, or as Ghost-Possum-Mage says: more from the other two groups.
Also, a second season is on the horizon, so do not fret! An actual LIVE will be shown! I guarantee it! =D annnndd you can visit this cool site which will most definitely blog K-ON! Season 2!!
I’ve come to accept that the music is a lie.
soooo that means ur gonna watch the second season, riiiiight?!!? =D =D =D x159
Loved the “K-ON!” OVA, it was really great and terrific to see all the girls again. Makes me anxious for the second season to air. ^^
Me too! and I also love when first-timers comment on my posts! It means the world to me!
Ritsu shouldn’t be performing, what if something happens to our unborn child
Ritsu? PFFF!!! You can have her! (also, invite me to the baby-shower… so I can show-her my moves…)
Hey! They like… actually DID stuff! In addition to drinking tea and all that jazz. The question now is whether I should follow the 2nd season since the first season resulted in a hefty dose of RAEG!
K-ON?! RAEG?! YOU?!? I would have never known! =O I mean sure the soundtrack sucked (lol), but… okay that soundtrack was horrible, but thou shall not hate THE BEST ANIME EVARRR without a proper reason!
Also, yea! Let’s all watch the second season and visit this really groovy site ’cause they will most definitely blog it!

YES!!! More K-ON = more
cashblog hitsFUN!Also, I’m glad the new season will air around April. I had a feeling it would take longer than that, but it’s almost right around the corner (and it’s also unfortunately very close to finals…)
