Kimi ni Todoke 13 13 01

I'm here to drink juice and kick ass, and I'm all outta juice

Summary:

Kimi ni Todoke 13 13 02

Ayane's Tiger Palm of Death is capable of friendly fire, too!

Shota’s jealousy takes over and he grabs Sawako’s arm and then briskly walks her around the school yard like a show dog.  When Shota asks if Sawako has feelings for Ryu, Sawako finally understands the difference between liking someone in the friend zone and liking someone in the want to bone zone.  Although she hadn’t thought of herself in a relationship until this point, her reaction is enough for Shota who admits he is the type of guy who will beat his woman if she looks at other guys.  Sawako is totally ok with this, however, and rushes off to tell her friends about her crush.

Meanwhile Ayane is still jealous of Ume’s skin and takes her investigation to another level.  Analysis of the note to Ryu and interviews of various girls in their class implicate Ume as a villain, and Ayane moves in for the kill.  Before the interrogation can get too far, however, Sawako rounds the corner and is surprised to see everyone together.  It’s then that Ayane reveals that Ume is a scheming bitch who made Sawako’s life hell.

Storage shack with safety cones? You stay classy, Ume!

There’s a new sheriff in town, and there are no Sawako shots this week wa ha ha!  Don’t feel bad, however, because at least you’re not having as bad a week as Ume.  My girl Ume hit the ground hard this episode; we’re talking Gilbert Arenas hard here.  She basically got rejected twice, and one of those times was by Pin.  Now Shota thinks Ume is just lolicon bait and Sawako is onto Ume’s scheming nature.  Next we’re going to find out Ume’s wearing a wig or hair extensions!  Who knows what Ume looks like the morning after!

As bad as things went for Ume, however, I like the effort she put in.  It drives me nuts to see passive characters like Sawako and Shota who never do anything about their feelings.  When you’ve got a crush, you need to annihilate and destroy everyone in your way; that’s why they call it a “crush.”  Unfortunately, Ume was simply no match for Ayane or any of the oblivious characters in the show.  It made me snicker how Sawako thought they were friends, but Ume just thought of Sawako as an annoyance.  Damn, I hate when that happens in real life!

Haha, Kurumi definitely needs to be the Gilbert Arenas of this series. Just whip out the guns!

… And the pistols, too.

Anyway, Kurumi as a hardcore gangster would make my interest in this series go way up. (Though admittedly I did like this episode quite a bit. Maybe the week off did some good!)

Haha show no remorse!

Kurumi did inadvertently open her true self to Sawako though earlier in the day. I think, since Sawako accepts people and sees no guile in them, that she will still good to Ume, no matter how hard a smack down her friends want to deliver.

Ah man, she used her trump card way too early without knowing what cards Sawako was holding. If you want to defeat someone you have to study them, and be adaptive enough to suit the situation. Using similar tactics won’t always work, and Kurumi learned the hard way.

A better idea would have been to build Sawako up and set her with another guy. Making Sawako seem more pitiful just makes Shota’s safety cone harder.

I look forward to awkward situations where different groups of friends just don’t get along with each other!

Nooo!!!! Your a horrible person!!!

My god, what exactly was Ume’s cheeks made of, silly putty. And Pin Sensei…that was so wrong, and now his ego going to go up even more.

When you’ve got a crush, you need to annihilate and destroy everyone in your way; that’s why they call it a “crush.”

I can imagine J159 saying this, with one of his goofy characters. Yeah, though I feel bad for her, she totally underestimated Sawako, and Kazehaya. An error such as this would cost her the war, and now what is she going to do with the upcoming gossip of her and Pin. Oh the tragedy of love and war.

Ume just thought of Sawako as an annoyance. Damn, I hate when that happens in real life!

Ain’t that the truth, its even worst when you know. Sometimes I wish some people can be as honest as Sawako, and Ume minus the whole deception..

I get the feeling this is the type of series where no one else ever had a chance at Shota, and we’re gonna focus more on how Shota x Sawako develops rather than a love battle. I hope Ume still gets time as a home-wrecker, though.

If this weren’t so firmly based on a shoujo manga, I’d say it would be totally awesome if Ume were a… trap :)

It’d be just like Maria Holic then.

I loved Pin’s over-the-shoulder coup de grâce as he walked away from Ume. Watching her twitch was hilarious, and for a minute there I thought she was going to lose it.

Who knows what Ume looks like the morning after!

LOL – that reminds me of this: Cherry on youtube

ha ha; that had me crying with laughter XD

im with you all the way Kabitzin, ume is awesome in my book. i dont know why everyone is so hateful towards her when shes obviously the true underdog of the series so far. as much as i like sawako all that confused misunderstandings and flowery background stuff has been seriously getting on my tits of late.

in truth ayane, pin and ryuu make this series for me. ryuu’s answer to every problem he encounters in this series has me in stiches; say nothing, give an indifferent stare and stroll quietly away. hes the man!

Biggest tragedy was Ryu not getting his nap. I totally know his pain!

Hah, love tainted by hatred and jealousy will never prevail! Kurumi just keeps digging a deeper hole for herself with these continued attacks on True Love and Friendship. If she’s smart she’ll start getting out now so she can move on instead of letting her loss consume her. Maybe the next episode will give more insight into the ‘what now?’ situation she finds herself in.

My favorite part is when Ryu walks off, uninterested.

Come back after you’ve trained under SHEN LONG.
