After a few days of nothing happening, the big bell starts ringing to signal Gildart’s return. He’s been working on a crazy 100-year mission (for 3 years), but he’s back now.

I’m pumped to meet this geezer who is supposed to be the top (or at least second behind Makarov) mage in the guild. The last time we met a mysterious powerful Fairy Tail mage it ended up being the super-awkward Mistgun. Please oh please let Gildart turn out to be an old version of Gerard, and by “old” I mean George-Clooney-old and not Jack-Nicholson-old. I don’t even know what Erza would do in this scenario, but I’d like to find out.
