The Twelve Days of Christmasu~ Day 1

Epi on December 13, 2009 · in Epi's Specials

Even if you don’t celebrate Christmas, perhaps you might celebrate the Japanese version… you know: Copious shopping, look at lights and of course give your most beloved a Christmasu cake! So I thought it would be fun to countdown with my own take on a classic song to review the past year…

On the first day of Christmasu Nama-ko sent to me…

As a huge fan of all things mecha, high school and tsundere, I've been writing for SSAB! since the summer of 2009, although my love of anime spreads through all genres. I'm not as witty as some, but I aim to bring comprehensive and well-written anime reviews out there for you all out there to enjoy!

I have no idea why Kabitzin didn’t allow you to use the original picture… it’s artistry brought tears to my eyes for some reason. Okay, maybe it was the laughter, but the tears were real. So awesome.

Now I can die, content.

Haha, I couldn’t even tell what it was at first! It took several minutes before I realized it was a hat, and even then only because Epi had mentioned Christmas cosplay Namako in a conversation before.

I guess the fact that I have kids who like to draw helped with my interpretation, because I recognized that as a hat immediately. This post really made my day yesterday… I’d get all depressed thinking about how close we’re getting to the end of White Album and then I’d think about that hat and I couldn’t keep from laughing. I’m still cracking up about it. And while the “official” picture isn’t quite as amusing, Santa Nama-ko turned out pretty well. Nice work, you two.

Don’t let that meanie-Kabitzin tell you what to do! When I first came out into the scene, he was all like, “Yo dawg, lose da numbahs, yo!” but that didn’t stop me from having a ridiculously long name! ;P
