Seriously, this was atrocious, and based on the preview I’m afraid that ep12 will be horrible too. I wonder if whoever wrote this shit second half of the episode thought that this was supposed to be a workable ending. They had stripped most of the backstory out since the beginning, so what’s the point trying to suddenly push a silly explanation in AND resolve it in this ridiculous manner? They should have gone with an open ending instead.
Rumor has it that the novel author is livid. I would be, too, since this was the kind of crap which is killing franchises, and turning a surprise hit so far (up to ep11 first half) into a ridiculous mess.
I think I’ll just pretend that the story ended at 11.5 – and wait for the Novel and Manga to carry on.

But yes, this was seriously a botched ending. I was quite enjoying the show up until now… this was just horrible, and episode 12 looks even worse. I’m going to assume that the novel is completely different?
Actually, I do enjoy the manga. I’m on chapter 15, and I plan to continue. Not sure if I’ll read the novels though.
I thought it was funny in a surreal sort of way. Sure I would’ve liked a proper ending, and I’m hoping for season 2, but as far as “Oh shit we better make an ending for this”-endings go, it ranks up there as one of the… “best”?
I just hate that silly fanservice shows try to hack together some serious plot at the end when they should just leave well enough alone. I’m totally OK with this series to fade away into obscurity rather than try some shit that, by sheer evidence of producing exactly this kind of show, already proved that they couldn’t do the serious drama or write riveting plot. Know your limits please.
oh my god!!!! I just skimmed it, and I couldn’t stop laughing. Wow, let me just say wow. I enjoyed the pool, and date episodes, but this one takes the cake for being so…wow I don’t know how to describe it.
I kind of liked how when Kaede explained to everyone that ‘if Natsuru chooses me, I win’, everyone was like ‘WTF?’. I mean EVEN THE CHARACTERS IN THE SHOW WERE WTF.
It was an “ending” which ended nothing. How did Sakura control him and how was he able to just break her mind control? wtf
There were plenty of revelations, really, but they were soooo not-funny-at-all that it wasn’t even worth waiting for these disclosure. It was all unfolded at such a little amount of time, it almost didn’t say anything!
To me it was the worst episode. I liked she series until episode then, but I was also watching because I wanted to know the reason why they fight and who Sakura was and stuff but when it was poorly explained… It didn’t even explain who the hell Sakura is, really!
I can only assume that she was a moderator, or at least a seat below them. I’m still waiting for the manga, so there’s still hope if you check the manga or novel.
And as Mentar points out, the next episode looks to be even worst… almost like a ‘life goes on even though we know everyone’s evil’ type episode!

Before knowing that fact, I really did enjoy the anime and this episode as well. It really isn’t the kind of anime that you should take too seriously, I mean after all there was little to no story in the series other than the five of them hanging out and getting into trouble. With everything aside I really hope that they continue the anime through a second season and focus a little more the story, but keep the same crazy style as of the other episodes.
So my final word is that the last episode was disappointing…but fun and somewhat entertaining (it was adorable seeing the other two girls finally getting to kiss Natasuru). I had a blast watching this anime and edger to see more.

I’m not sure if there will be more though, I guess only Mentar knows if there’s more material. Considering how quickly they wrapped everything up, i’m going to guess no.

Sage advice, IMO. Thank you /a/. But this was the best (worst) troll ever. Endless Eight has nothing on Kampfer 11.
I feel like Kaede and the White Kampfer represented everything I didn’t like in the show. Damn them! When the Entrail Animals started cheering and singing, the series really jumped the shark. Too bad, but it did leave the door open for future sequels I guess.
