Stop, you're making me plush
Here’s two more images of Nama-ko, per Utane (click the picture for the larger version). Interestingly enough, I was originally planning on having Lires do an image of Nama hugging a slug plushie, while Utane was just given freedom to draw whatever. However, when Utane came up with the plushie idea independently before Lires had submitted a sketch, I had to ask him to change his idea to the popsicle one.
This probably wraps up the 2009 Nama-ko season. I went over budget this year, since it cost more to get this whole mascot project started, but it’s been very rewarding. I’d like to get more images of dear Nama in 2010 doing plenty of other stereotypical anime things, like running with toast in her mouth or splashing around at the beach. Any ideas for Nama-ko pictures you’d like to see commissioned next year? Obviously, keep it SFW, since most of these images eventually make it into the pool of site banners.
One more week till Thanksgiving!

That doesn’t look like a seaslug at all, Kabitzin… It looks more like, a sea hydra? I’m not a biology major by any stretch of the imagination, but I don’t think that seaslugs don’t have much in way of tentacles.
As for stereotypical anime things, igh, not the toast please. How about general SFW cosplay? Glasses would be nice…
Yea, I agree… in fact, I didn’t know what the hell it was! Perhaps it would be better to have it red, like the other hair-ornament sea slugs. But either way, I guess it’s still pretty KOO wit da KEEDS!!! =3

Glasses would be pretty awesome indeed. And I just thought of a perfect character to cosplay, my favorite, Tohsaka Rin! She has the twin tails going already and everything :p
I definitely would like to see that, and while were at it how about Asuka, or Minatsu?
I’m not sure about cosplay as a specific other anime character, since the whole point is for Nama to look distinctively like Nama in the banners.

Back on topic, maybe a picture of Nama-ko reading SS!AB on a computer lol.
It’s one of the default ones here, you’ll notice that people who don’t have a gravatar get one of several patterns in various colors.
And Nama-ko reading SS!AB would be cool, as long as she’s wearing glasses while reading….

I finally caved in and took 30 seconds out of my life to set one up. Kabitzin isn’t the only one with a mascot to show off.
I like these general cosplay ideas, although the idea of Krauser-tan Nama scares me…
