Winry, **I** am your... GRANDFATHER?!?
Summary:
So I’m supposed to write a summary of the episode here, but how do you write a summary of a summary (clips/recap/ran out of money) episode?! Basically FMA’s way to make an interesting recap episode was to have Hoenheim sit around thinking to himself in front of a campfire. We get some hint that he himself may be a Homunculus or at least heavily related to ‘Father’, but at the end everything is washed away by the fact that… it was all a dream.
I’d rather he was sitting in a train or playing Air on a G String by Bach. Oh well!
Onto the more important ‘new’ stuff, this week as we’re treated to a new OP and ED. The new OP is titled “Golden Time Lover” by Sukima Switch. Personally I think the OP is pretty forgettable. Being a Yui fan, I was one of the few that really liked the first OP and I didn’t mind the second one either, but this one kind of sucks.
As for the new ED (Tsunai Da Te (つないだ手; Tied Hands)” by Lil’B) I say… not bad! I’ll give it a 7.5/10 as far as EDs go. Nothing special, but pretty pleasant to the ears.

For some reason I thought she was playing soccer with the panda, but it’s just running around her legs. Too bad.
Next week: Everyone meets ‘Father’. Can’t wait.
P.S. I realized what recent episodes have been lacking… we need more Alex Louis Armstrong!
P.P.S. I know that asian grandmothers are all small, but Pinako really shrunk quite a bit didn’t she? GEEZ. Also I can’t watch this episode without thinking of Talia Gladys from Gundam SEED Destiny… arugh.

I noticed they returned Winry’s bosom to FMA 1 dimensions–at least for the ED.
And she does have an ab fab midriff too.
Dimensions are good now, but her face is still weird looking.
Personally, I kept thinking of Balalaika from Black Lagoon. Imagine a battle of the badass leaders — Bradley vs. Balalaika. I’m getting goosebumps.
Except that Balalaika can actually die from her wounds… I’m not sure if Bradley can even if he ages.
This came to my mind.
Yeah lol Pinako really shrunk. She’s like a quarter of her middle-aged size. Lol anime is all about exaggerations.
Agreed, Alex Armstrong has been missing for a while. He’s still kinda out of the loop at this point of the story.
I have newfound respect for Hohenheim now that he’s a confirmed pedo.
