Summary:
Ayumi thinks she’s rejected Misao, and rumors of Misao’s defeat at the hands/foot of a middle school are spreading. Ayumi pulls a Fatina by moving on to the younger brother, but Yuuji already stole all the cookies that Ayumi baked for Mamoru (leaving only a critical note). To make things worse, Mamoru couldn’t care less about Ayumi because he already has a huge crush on Misao’s friend, high schooler Yamamoto Misaki. Unfortunately, because Misaki lives next door, she considers Mamoru to be nothing more than a little brother.
Misao asks Misaki to come over to give him advice, and she armbars Misao until he tells her about Ayumi. Even though Misao loves little animals and is very neat, he is so scary that it’s hard for him to get a girl. Misaki is not much help since she considers love to be troublesome, but before she can escape out the window, Etsu lulls her to sleep with some especially boring puns. Etsu is all ready to start molesting Misaki (but only after Mamoru goes first) until Misaki catches the two of them in a series of joint locks and chokes, all while dreaming about wrestling.
Reaction:
Ahh, submission grappling, where it always looks like someone is getting to second base. Control the thumb, Misaki! Of course I have to root hard for Misaki, even if she was kinda sloppy about controlling her opponent’s body with her legs. It was also funny how Misao is so much larger than Misaki that even when she tried to armbar him, she couldn’t really stretch the arm out and apply proper leverage against his elbow. He totally could have clasped his hands together and powered out of that submission!
Etsu was pretty awesome in this episode as well. He is a fantastic wingman, except for the fact that it feels like you’d have to share any girl he set you up with. I also have a bit of a problem with using puns for date rape. Anyway, I really enjoyed the many twists and turns in the love triangles, and it’s too bad that the secret that Misao and Misaki are keeping from Mamoru isn’t juicier.

Oh god… Kusuda was hillarious. He has an amazing power, although I don’t know if you would be happy to have it, or saddened.
I am really liking how the anime is turnign out. I may go and reread the manga. I remember feeling the ending was a bit abrupt and didn’t feel right, so I hope they pull it off well in the anime.
Yeah, that’s some power right there making people fall asleep with lame jokes. Just imagine the possibilities!
The girls in this show are uber hot. Misaki especially has the dream body.
Pretty much any middle schooler with Kusuda’s power would use it for evil.
