Naruto is super-pissed off and has some strange Sage-Kyuubi chakra mixing going on. Nagato shoots a chakra-receiving lance into Naruto’s belly, but for some reason this does nothing. Anyway, Naruto wants to hear why Nagato is so emo. I don’t know what it is about Naruto, but he loves hanging around emo guys.

So Nagato begins his tale of woe. During the war, two Konoha ninja ventured into his dark house looking for food. Nagato’s parents jumped out of the shadows (unarmed), attacked the Konoha ninja, and got killed. The Konoha ninja didn’t expect to get jumped, and were surprised that they just stabbed two civilians; then Nagato killed them with the power of his Rinnegan when they tried to help him.
EMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
This is completely ridiculous, because you know a medical ninja could have probably healed both of the parents if Nagato had just taken a chill pill first. Look at Hinata, she got stabbed and she’s still fine. Unfortunately, the story continues. Nagato blanks out from his emo rage, and doesn’t realize he’s the one who killed the two Konoha guys. He then goes around begging for food with a stray dog (Tiny) until he collapses in hunger. Fortunately, Konan finds them and hands over some bread.

Konan brings Nagato back to meet Yahiko and the three orphans work together to steal food and survive. One day, Hanzo and the Sannin got involved in the battle that earned the Sannin their name, and Tiny got caught in the blast. Yahiko is pissed that Tiny is dead, and so he reiterates his dream to become God of this world.
Uggggggghhhh, WTF? I can only hope that Naruto is taking this time to gather Sage Chakra so that he can force feed Nagato some Frog Kata. So Nagato killed Hanzo and everyone Hanzo knew because Hanzo accidentally killed Nagato’s dog? And Nagato completely destroyed Konoha because two Konoha ninja accidentally stabbed his parents (probably non-fatally)? I don’t even know what to say about this.

Agree with your observations completely… one puppy is all the reason it took for Nagato to conquer a nation… I don’t even know how ridiculous that sounds.
