Outside, God Realm decides he’s going to need more rocks to make his katamari even larger. Inside, Naruto can’t believe that the Fourth Hokage is his father, but he’s happy just to know who his dad was. However, Naruto wastes no time in getting to the important stuff.

As an emotional Naruto cries bittersweet tears and smears his mascara, Minato reveals that there was a plan behind the sealing. Because Minato had actually been paying attention to the storyline of this manga, he knew that Uchiha Madara was the one who had summoned Kyuubi originally to fight Hashirama (the First Hokage).
Minato watches you while you fap
Minato sealed Kyuubi inside Naruto as a sort of secret weapon. The Fourth also mentions that love breeds hate, hate breeds ninjas, and ninjas breed pirates; since nobody could live without ninjas or pirates, the vicious cycle continues. He also entrusts Naruto with the task of finding out what will bring about peace and understanding. Although Naruto expresses doubt on account of being kinda dumb, Minato restores the belly-seal and gives Naruto a mini pep talk.
Believe in me who believes in you!
Back in the outside world, the smoke clears and the skinless Kyuubi has vanished. Instead, Naruto is standing there confidently, looking like Goku training on King Kai’s planet.
Where did his long coat go?
This was kinda a meh chapter, as it basically just recapped stuff for readers who weren’t paying attention. I know this is being an armchair-Hokage, but why would Minato seal Kyuubi as a secret weapon? If the Uchiha clan can all control Kyuubi (like when Sasuke easily suppressed Kyuubi in chapters 308-309), how exactly would sealing the Fox inside Naruto help at all? Did Minato not know that Tobi == Madara? And why didn’t Naruto ask about his mom?
Naruto’s looking pretty cool standing on that planet, but if God Realm releases his gravity control, won’t a huge rock fall on Naruto? That attack even worked on Kyuubi! Oh well, someone summon the last Naruto clone already, because this forum needs more sage (although it looks like Naruto is already in Sage Mode, which makes no sense)!

And Kishimoto finally did a mistake by drawing sage mode eyes on Naruto! Seriously, that was the first thing that came to mind.
Lol looks like my prediction was right. Back to Sage Mode we go, although yes I’m not sure how Naruto is Sage Mode when he turned back to human form. Agreed that the chapter was kind of meh and didn’t tell us anything new.
I thought of this chapter as essentially Yondaime telling Naruto, “Son, clean up my mess. I’m out.” It was kind of strange that he explained some things I didn’t expect him to explain, and he didn’t explain several things I would have expected him to explain (for example, details on the seal, which thus far only Jiraya and Orochimaru seem to have been able to properly modify or restore. Might be important.)
But then, internal logic must bow to plot design. Kishimoto has specific ideas about where this is all going and doesn’t hesitate to yank the story in the desired direction.
