Summary:
Ouri surprisingly invokes a Zadan-jutsu to stab Ena-Keisei through the neck, but Ena simply moves to another of the Keisei bodies that she summoned. To combat this, Keisei takes out the other bodies with a little help from Sadahiro and Akira. Left with only one body, Ena has Touya drop Ena’s favorite (amalgamated) body for some deadly bell-dodgeball. The spinning bell is pretty powerful, but by invoking the curse for some speedy regeneration, Makina uses her bare hands as brakes to halt and smash the bell. Makina then executes Ena with Akira’s sniper rifle.
When Ouri collapses exhausted into Makina’s arms, Nozomi sees this and is dismayed. Touya drops in for a conversation and they both agree that a happy death is beautiful. Nozomi gets mind-controlled by a balloon and starts going around the school making out with everyone, but she’s really just interested in Ouri. Finally, Nozomi ambushes Ouri at his place and asks him to kill her.
Reaction:
Was using Makina’s bare hands really the best way to beat Ena? I would have just waited till he threw the bell and then sniped him. I found it interesting that Ena’s original body just looked like Hibiki Daitetsu and that he originally chiseled himself in the throat because his yaoi-art wasn’t progressing the way he wanted. Meanwhile, after catching a glimpse of Makina changing and having to buy Makina all that instant ramen (CP are sugar daddies!), it looks like Ouri is a little jealous of Keisei. At least he doesn’t have to call her Hoshimura-san anymore.
We learned this time that only Shinze can make perfect SH. The little bit about Ouri being able to use Zadan-jutsu was intriguing also. It usually takes tons of training (or stealing someone smart’s consumables) to borrow the power from stars and protective gods, but Ouri could use it right away to beat the Keisei clones. It looks like Akira and Sadahiro don’t consider it really Keisei unless the body is wearing those glasses. I laughed when Makina asked Akira if she was almost to 108 shikabane kills and Akira was like, “Meh…” because Akira hunts humans. How many SH actually want to get to heaven anyway?
