Summary:
Sachi and Nanami have been slyly been spending all their time together after school, and their cheerful banter at lunch really pisses Yuzuru off. Sachi and Yuzuru are BFF, so Yuzuru is unable to shake her jealousy at being left out all the time. It gets so bad that Yuzuru starts sucking at archery, and this worries Mariya because Yuzuru is the best archer on the team and Mariya wants to finish with a perfect record.
Yuzuru worries herself sick, but it turns out that Sachi was just helping Nanami pick out a birthday present for Yuzuru. Nanami hasn’t ever bought a present for a friend before and was embarrassed about dragging Sachi to every single store and going all out for Yuzuru. With the advice of Yuzuru’s roommate, Satsuki Chifumi, Sachi and Nanami were able to get Yuzuru a nice yukage (archery glove). The party takes a little awkward turn when Kanako is the only one without a present, and Mariya and Matsurika conspire to put her on the spot.
Reaction:
Well the mystery from last episode got resolved pretty easily as it turns out that Yonakuni ran off with the bra. This makes no sense, but I loved how after Kanako got the bra back she ran off and refused to give it back to Honoka. Some lines just have to be crossed, I suppose. As for Nanami, she is not much of a romantic. Who brings in bitter melon and pig trotters to seduce other girls?
I’m not sure why but I love watching people abuse poor Kanako. It was so hilarious how after everyone started clapping and chanting Kanako’s name, Matsurika was chanting “female pig” to the beat. That’s not to say that Kanako doesn’t deserve what she gets, though, and it was awesome how Kanako told Mariya that she would have liked to have bought Yuzuru some sexy lingerie.

Lol Kanako wasn’t guilty of stealing Honoka’s bra before, but then she was after she got her hands on it.
I wonder what Kanako’s party trick will be…
i thought it was Honoka’s underwear that had gone missing last week? Or maybe it was the full set?
The best part really was the ending, I can’t wait to see what Kanako does next week…
Yeah, pretty petty at times, but Maria+Holic is living up to my expectations. Pretty cliche on this particular episode, but still enjoyable.
I’ve become a Yuzuru fan because of this episode. Jealousy rocks!
Also particularly liked how they represented her feelings using all those arrows. Shaft, GJ!
