What are friends for?
Franken Fran gets called in to examine model Tsuji Misae for Medusa’s Head; Misae originally thought she was pregnant but then freaked out when her capillaries started bunching up in such a way as to form the face of her dead friend. It turns out Misae’s best friend Moriya Misaki became jealous when Misae got engaged two years ago, because that playboy jock was monopolizing Misae’s time. And so, like any good friend, Misaki went and seduced Misae’s fiance. The circle of revenge continued with Misae blacklisting Misaki from the modeling world and Misaki slitting her own throat in front of Misae.
And by 'her boyfriend' I mean 'my boyfriend'
It seems that Misae was infected with a protozoan (possibly from the splattering of Misaki’s blood) that spread throughout Misae’s body and formed a bunch of faces. At one point, half of Misae’s body is covered with the face-tumors and she goes on a stabby killing spree before Fran stops her and conducts an impromptu surgical removal. However, the face-tumors keep growing back and so a compromise is made. Fran fertilizes Misae’s egg with Misaki’s DNA and Misae has a baby boy (per Misae’s request).
OK Misaki, breastfeeding time
Misae ends up separating from her husband and splitting time between modeling and being a mother. The baby boy is also named Misaki and this calms down the protozoa in Misae’s body. The whole misunderstanding came about because Misae and Misaki loved each other and couldn’t deal with jealousy or loneliness.
Veronica is going to start killing everyone so she can monopolize Fran
Okita accuses Fran of being a love doctor, but Frank understands love because she is totally in love with Professor Madaraki. Meanwhile, Veronica is probably off to scheme about infecting Fran with Veronica-protozoa.
Veronica has a one-track mind
It was ironic how Misaki used her face to deface Misae’s body. This was a happier ending than we usually see in Franken Fran, and it was sweet in its own way. You know you’ve been reading too much Franken Fran when you are surprised the patient doesn’t end up as a puddle of goo or transformed into some hideous monster. Veronica was hilarious this chapter, between her disbelief in ghosts and her secret love of Fran.

good manga! interesting
Franken Fran ofthen balances between High-Octane Nightmare Fuel and Grotesquely cute.
Okay, I couldn’t read pass the second part at first, but I returned, because there was ’something’ in that manga. Finished it in one night.
Too bad it has not been scanlated in a while. Franken Fran is truly ingenious and funny in some weird way.
