While Nimura Kensuke and Tsuchimiya Kagura deal with the armored headless centaur, Imawano Shizuru has to worry about mummy-mafia-man trying to undress her with his knives. Izuna Noriyuki attempts to back the pair up, but is easily distracted by a ridiculous illusion of babes embracing him.
He doesn't even bother trying to fight the illusion...
Mummy-mafia-man pokes Shizuru in the boob and taunts her for being unable to use Kurofodo without a sesshouseki. However, it turns out that Shizuru didn’t need the sesshouseki to force Kurofodo to obey her; once her naked soul rubs up against Kurofodo he decides he will be her friend and listen to her anyway. Kurofodo then proceeds to zap everyone, including Noriyuki.
Actually, spirit beasts will listen to any hot young chick
Kensuke rewraps Kagura’s hands into the proper seal for her Acala World of Fire seal, and they ambush the centaur with some impressive teamwork. Kagura destroys the head, Kave defends, and Kensuke aims at the seal in the armor to destroy the body. This leaves Kensuke drained, as his repaired Michael Revolution draws a lot of spiritual power. Kagura grabs the centaur’s sesshouseki, but it’s one step forward and two steps back as the blocky gangster abducts the helpless Kensuke and escapes to a helicopter waiting outside.
He stole one of the spirit foxes, too!
Well that didn’t turn out too well… They gained one sesshouseki, but then lost one sesshouseki as well as Kensuke. Still, that was a pretty cool fight, and Kave was so sweet this chapter. I still can’t believe that tanuki got his own mini-training arc (sorta).
