Yozakura Quartet 08

Summary:

Enjin wants the key to get into the room that Hime went in for the ceremony. Even though Ao frees herself with the power of static, Enjin is able to take the key from Hime and force Akina to use it. Everyone knows that if Enjin can reach the bottom room, he’ll screw with the NPK ratio and add too much Potassium to the fertilizer.

Having the Nana-Gou blossom would be disastrous because it would trigger everyone’s spring allergies and also link our world to the crappy one that humans exile bad Youkai to. Akina hasn’t ever even seen this area, so Enjin informs Akina that the other world totally sucks because it is basically empty. Enjin then causes one Nana-Gou to blossom. For some reason Yuuhi doesn’t want anyone to interfere (although Yae does backstab Enjin out of spite), but Hime grabs the Dragon Lance and strikes down the flowering Nana-Gou with the power of rainbows.

Reaction:

I was very surprised to see that the Nana-Gou appear to be linked to the Elders. Fortunately, Enjin just massaged that one guy’s heart instead of giving him a colonoscopy. I’m not sure if Hime was in time to stop the flowering, but soon bad Youkai are going to be moving into the neighborhood, stealing our jobs, taking our women, and lowering our property values. Damn you Enjin!

I like that Enjin keeps Gin hostage, but to be honest it doesn’t seem like the YLCO would be able to beat up Enjin even if he looked like George W. Bush. Enjin cheats just as hard as Ao does, but he has way more power. He also seems to have suppressed Gin’s siscon longings, and was even able to backfist Ao off the screen during the battle. Love is gone =(.
