Summary:

Nejula tells Tsutomu to stay at home or risk leading everyone to Sayaka. Unbeknownst to Tsutomu is that everyone (even freaking Muroto) knows about Sayaka and her location aboard the Lost Bird. Shymalan plays an elitist broadcast about chosen people surviving evolution, and ironically he is one of the first people to perish at the mature Ryunka’s hands. I guess that Aijivant System can now be deemed a complete failure.

Capella runs away and realizes it was a mistake to side with Colonel Katol. It seems the military purposely made it easy to steal the Ryunka so that criminals would test it out on a backwaters planet. Ryunka begins to get more precise with targeting as it matures to stage 2, and the Hydrongius System is ineffective. Next up is a purification with 1000x the astral level, but it takes an hour to charge. Meanwhile Muroto gives Tsutomu a ride and Tsutomu rushes to use the power of love to save Sayaka.

Reaction:

It was so great watching Shymalan frozen and shattered after putting up with 11 episodes of his BS. He even gave a shoutout to the Spanish Flu! All that crap about his perfect plan, and he gets wiped out by a glowing teenage girl. I did find it very amusing that Shymalan stocked his ship with tons of cloned sailors, and then walked past all of them on his way to strapping Sayaka to a table.

I was kinda confused by the glowing things that Nejula’s homies were firing at. If the Ryunka is inside Sayaka, what are those ghostly things that are roaming around Tokyo? At least we finally found out how the Ryunka killed everyone. It seems that the Ryunka generates a huge field of emo that sets off a powerful endothermic reaction. Only the warm fuzzies of love can stop this terrible chain reaction!
