Top 3 Most Likely To Die?

Loading ...Even though we’ve seen numerous characters put in danger so far, no one important has died yet in Macross Frontier. Unlike Code Geass where people “die” and come back all the time, Macross Frontier seems to be holding back. Will everyone make it till the end, or are some characters doomed in the final stretch?
- Ai-kun: Technically he’s the enemy, but if he stays small he might just get through this. Good thing he’s Ranka’s favorite Vajra. Chance of survival: medium.
- Alto: As the main character, his survival is all but insured. Chance of survival: high.
- Brera: All that talk about protecting the woman you love is pointless until you take a direct hit from a Vajra. Ozma did it, so the bar has been set. Chance of survival: low.
- Cathy: She should be fairly safe, aside from a direct attack from Leon, or a shot that destroys the Macross Quarter. Cathy survived the 7th Ultra-Long Distance Fold Clearance Sale, so you know she’s tough. Chance of survival: high.
- Grace: If someone has to go down, it’s Grace. It only counts if you get her real body and not just a copy, though. Chance of survival: low.
- Klan Klein: I feel like Mikhail is setting her up for a fall. If you worry about it enough, it might just come true… Chance of survival: medium.
- Leon: Leon is my nominee for “bad guy who changes sides at the last moment.” All you ladies looking for an ambitious man should keep an eye on Leon, since it looks like he’ll be single soon. Chance of survival: low.
- Luca: Bright cheery guy who doesn’t really do very much… That is a recipe for disaster. Thanks for the cool toys. Chance of survival: medium.
- Mikhail: He’s been at risk for a while in my eyes, but his ties to Klan Klein and his safe sniping bring his chances up a little. Chance of survival: medium.
- Nanase: She could be Luca’s last chance for survival. Also, if she dies then who will design Ranka’s costumes? Chance of survival: high.
- Ozma: He’s survived so much, but a cat only has so many lives. Chance of survival: low.
- Ranka: Most women survive childbirth nowadays, even if their child is a gross alien bug that hatches from an egg. Chance of survival: high.
- Sheryl: The last time someone had a V-type infection, Vajra followed that person through a fold and destroyed the entire ship with just one blast. Chance of survival: medium.
- Nobody Important: The ultimate copout.

I’d even wish, but no. Most of those who’ve died are still dead, with only a couple of exceptions.
The very few who came back were only presumed dead and not shown to be, however.
But since I’m not watching Macross Frontier, I can’t really talk about that, leaving the rest of your post unaddressed.
Well, people comes back to life all the time… (hint: guess who ressurect at ZNT S3 07)

Grace obviously wins, but that’s a dumb choice partly because Grace is the SPOILER at this point. And nobody cares for the SPOILER.
But who knows, they may pull a “you can kill the physical body but we are LEGION MUHAHAHA” nonsense.
I don’t think it will be the obvious choices who would be killed off. E.g. Grace might get the Macross 7 treatment, where she (actually her collective) changes her ways for the better.
I vote for “Macross collapses, everyone dies.”
I’m calling it now – Mikhail is going to die in the near future. As the Maximilian of Frontier his death would be somewhat unexpected unlike Ozma who was too obvious from the beginning. If he dies it’d be the perfect catalyst to ramp everything up several notches.
I hope I’m wrong but if I’m not we better see macro Klan go berserk and wipe out all the Vajra. Maybe go for a two-in-one death and squash Grace while she’s at it.
Damn it, I want Mikael and Klein to have a happy ending. I’ve sort of tired of the Ranka/Klan/Sheryl antics to the point where I almost don’t care who ends up with whom, but Klan and Mikael deserve a happy ending.
So why is everyone predicting that one or both of them will die, and why can’t I find a good reason to disagree with that? >:(
I couldn’t agree more. The problem is, that may be precisely why one of them ends up dead, all for the sake of drama.
I agree. Alto will get one of the girls and the other will probably survive to be a lonely galactic songstress, but Mikhail needs to macronize and get some hot Zentradi lovin’ before he inevitably gets killed off.
If Ranka dies I’m gonna rage like it was the season finale of True Tears. Other than that, everyone is fair game to me. ;P
I dunno why you Noe fans are mad about the end of True Tears. Your idol is single and available.

… well, mostly because I’m still somewhat behind in the series. Two more episodes and I’m finally up to date!
Hmm, well, I think its because we didn’t want to see Noe all emo-like and start jumping off trees. Its pretty hard (as fanboys) to see someone you care about get the “I don’t love you” treatment, especially when she was the happiest character in the series. Although, I think the experience made her a better person, so I was okay with the ending (still wondering where that brother went though =3 *giggles*)
