Summary:

We get a quick scene of Keisuke scamming money for UFO books and hearing about classmate Sanada Kaori. Kaori is about to interview hotshot executive Satajito Shymalan, who is involved with the aliens (and has a goth-loli maid) who wants the Ryunka. Bacillus is still trying to sniff Birdy out for info on the Ryunka, but he wants to give it to an alien disguised as a blond guy with a moustache.

Meanwhile, Birdy and Tute have a bit of a fight because Tute agrees that Tsutomu should be able to live as normal a life as possible. If Tsutomu doesn’t willingly let Birdy have control of the body, Birdy’s combat effectiveness decreases greatly. Anyway, Bacillus finds Birdy (although actually he sniffed out Sayaka) and they fight. In the battle, Tute is killed, and Birdy remembers how they became partners when she was a kid. With Tute’s blessing, Birdy then nukes Bacillus with the Elemental Destructor.

Reaction:

When you get jealous, your friends die. That’s what I learned from this episode. A lot of information was merely implied in this episode, but it seems like Bacillus was about to eat Tute’s brains before Tute did a little self-surgery to get away. So much for his plans for a Birdy nudie film and CD, but I had a hard time being sad for Tute. Not only did I barely know him, but hasn’t anyone heard of backups?

It’s also fairly clear that Sayaka is sharing the body of that other agent now, even though she doesn’t realize it. I’m not sure what Birdy is going to do now since all her leads are gone, and only the mystery agent knows where the Ryunka is. Shouldn’t it be case closed? Also I found out that Natsumi is Tsutomu’s childhood friend, but she didn’t seem to have any problems with Tsutomu being in love with Tute. Also, if Tsutomu gets it on with Natsumi, isn’t that technically girl x girl, since it’s really Birdy grinding on that other agent (unless that agent is actually a guy)?

Being attracted to Birdy becomes even more awkward than being attracted to Impz a trap. I’d still hit it.

She’s just cosplaying a dude, as long as she doesn’t try to talk with Tsutomu in her mind.

After that gap in subbing I decided to just download a whole block at once when the series is over.

people are saying the animation’s crap, that the case?

Seems above average so far, but certainly not great. I’ve only seen the first three episodes, though, so perhaps it goes downhill.

Actually its pretty good animation, it just switches to frame by frame artist color sketches during long extreme fight scenes ( which btw ive only seen 5 times) other then that its pretty good
