Kotonoha is too confused by Setsuna’s actions to really form a meaningful conclusion, and Setsuna scampers off to watch some strangely personal Hitohira-esque play. Next we hear all about how girls in the school confess by holding out their fist with a condom inside. If the guy takes your hand then he accepts your confession, and if he doesn’t maybe you should get your pulse checked. We then see Nanami confessing to a senpai, and Kumi getting ready to meet her boyfriend.
Meanwhile, Kotonoha sends 20 text mails to Makoto, but he’s too busy being lovey dovey with Sekai. Otome’s gang bullies Kotonoha about whether she’s really going out with Makoto, and while Kotonoha’s distracted Otome manages to get Makoto to accept her confession. After getting done with Otome, Makoto goes to the folk dance with Sekai, to celebrate their official couple status, even though he has yet to break up with Kotonoha. Finally, Taisuke tells Kotonoha to realize that Makoto has betrayed her, and he takes her shocked expression to mean that he should unbutton her blouse and help himself to her rack.
I felt bad for Sekai, because I think Makoto actually does like her and feels she’s important to him. However, that doesn’t stop him from getting with Otome and any girl who is interested in him. Most of the girls just put up with all of Makoto’s crap, though. Otome lets him refuse her request for a dance even though she just put out for him, and Setsuna’s still lusting for Makoto even while she watches a dumb play on words about betraying the world. Kotonoha doesn’t realize her whole time with Makoto was a sham, and clings to her status even though her time has passed, and the whole thing with Kokoro was just humiliating. I’m waiting for Makoto to go after Kokoro’s friend Uzuki next.
Makoto is just a beast without morals, going back to his Darwinian roots. The way he gave that evil smirk at Otome when he realized she liked him was hilarious. I was giggling at the absurdity of Makoto checking out Otome’s body before answering her nervous confession. When you look at the traditions of the school though (the lounge filled with tissues and used condoms), it makes you wonder if there is some serious lack of guidance at the school. All the girls there seem to lack self-confidence, and even Taisuke is learning the ropes by forcing himself on a catatonic Kotonoha.

Man, this show is sooo trashy and has more soaps than you can shake a stick at.
I love it.
I’ve lost a lot of my previous sympathy for Sekai as time went on. It’s long past the point where she really should have brought it to a halt and actually done the right thing, as opposed to sort of want to but not really. She still looks good compared to Makoto, though. Makoto is clearly not interested in a relationship with anyone; he just wants the sex.

somehow i feel that makoto is the kind of guy who’s “not innocent” [a term thats understood by my friends] but he’s hiding it behind that dumb, oblivious n innocent facade….
which makes him relly dangerous….
I agree that Makoto is not as dumb as he might look. Although I feel sad for Kotonoha, she’s kinda delusional at this point.
I think that Kotonoha and Makoto’s a sweet couple.I hope that Sekai can put back things as they were.I totally love Kotonoha’s and Sekai’s hair.
