The Valliere sisters show up at the Academy, because Eleonore of the Oriz Magic Academy has arrived to assist in teaching practical combat magic. However, almost immediately a busty masked woman breaks into Principal Osman’s safe and steals the Water and Wind Rubies that he was guarding. Fortunately, Osman expertly tagged the thief’s left breast with his special star stamp that not even a Triangle mage can remove. He also mentions/lies that the rings were fakes.
While Julio and Agnes search the students, Michelle and Saito check the teaching staff. Saito is completely unsuccessful at sneaking a look at the Valliere sisters, and suddenly there is an explosion in Cattleya’s room. It looks like Cattleya is the thief, but using some CSI skills, Eleonore traces the hair back to Michelle, who tried to frame Cattleya. During the questioning, Michelle complains that 10 years ago her dad was framed for a rebellious plot, and committed suicide. However, Agnes reveals that the true criminal was actually the Principal of Richemont Academy, the very man who took Michelle in after the death of her father!
Even with minimal plot advancement, this was an amusing episode. While Louise continues to be annoyingly mean to Saito, it is enjoyable to watch her get bullied in turn by Eleonore. I approve of the pairing of Julio and Agnes, and I think the couple could work out. I cheered a little when Agnes simply shot Michelle’s wand to pieces. It was funny that Julio simply asked to see everyone’s chests, but really how many of those girls could have been the culprit (especially considering the paleness of the stamped breast)?
Saito showed off impressive moves with the poker, and was able to defend against Michelle’s sword attacks. There may be hope for him yet. As for those who are looking increasingly hopeless, I worry more and more for Louise, especially after finding out how flat Eleonore is. I was also disappointed with Siesta’s newest plan to lure in Saito. Michelle was equally unimpressive, with her poor reasoning skills (the stamp would show through a burn), and her decision to wear a low-cut body suit. I wonder why Osman didn’t just blast her, considering that he didn’t assist in “investigating” the students and staff, but he was pretty fast and accurate with the stamp.

The headmaster was way too occupied with checking out the culprit’s large rack! He was like that in the first season too, and I don’t remember him ever showing off how good he actually was with magic. I bet he’s one of those characters that acts all perverted but is actually super leet.
It reminds me of The Princess Bride, how Osman didn’t want to eliminate a good rack. It’s possible he knew who the culprit was all along, and since she never made any moves to take the rings outside of the school, there was no point in really chasing her or blowing her up. I think Osman has a soft spot for bad girls, haha.
Or maybe just a soft spot for all girls…
Lol. I know, at first I saw Osman and I’m like ‘Dumbledore’ but he turns out to be so perverted. I reckon he knew that his secretary was evil all along as well, be never acted for so-and-so reasons…
