Three words: SIMON IS BACK! Thank goodness, as all his moping was really dragging the show down. Hopefully Nia won’t kick the bucket in the forthcoming episodes now that she’s done her duty. I’m beginning to warm up to her finally.

I must admit, Guame is quite crafty for a beastman – he was totally like, “GG suckas!” until Simon made his miraculous comeback. That dirty haxxor. At least he had the presence of mind to eject before Simon destroyed his Ganmen though, and will surely live on to plot revenge in the shadows and mutter curses in Simon’s general direction.

Guame’s behavior also raised an important question – do beastmen find human females attractive? I initially thought that beastmen find humans to be repulsive little hairless monkeys, but Guame and his anteaters seemed to think otherwise. Which begs the question, do the female beastmen (or should I say, beastwomen) ever get jealous? Inquiring minds want to know.

Next episode looks like a freakin’ beach episode. I can’t wait for the athletics festival, culture festival, and Initial D parody as well.

Regarding Guame, I believe that he is an armadillo. Also, I didn’t get the feeling that the beastmen really liked human girls, aside from the Double Helix King (and he is an immortal oddity).

I thought the trap was brilliant and subtle. It’s easy to see how anyone would fall for that trick. What was up with the stupid thick-lips guy who ordered them to fire on the beastmen? Damn, I thought only the captain was allowed to order an attack.

Helix is human, is he not? I am pretty sure that’s what we will find out.
