Rig follows the duo through the forest, with his gross, infected stump of a hand. He wants to humiliate Teresa by raping her, and is not dissuaded by her disgusting torso. Before he can get it on, however, Clare clubs him on the head, and Teresa threatens to break the rules and kill him if he hurts Clare. Clare finally speaks and reveals that she was comforting the Claymore who looked so lonely and pained. Teresa is aware of the irony of the situation, and so tries to ditch Clare at the next town.
Teresa finds a remote village and slays the Yoma, before trying to ditch Clare. Clare gets naked to avoid being taken in by the town, but for some reason this does not work. Unfortunately, it turns out that the Yoma was the only thing protecting the town from the bandits that Teresa ran into. She runs back to find Rig dragging off Clare, and decides to exercise her freedom of choice. Teresa chops up all the bandits, and then strikes down the band of Claymores that come to execute her. The Organization is displeased that Teresa has found a new reason to live, and calls on ranks 2 through 5 to mobilize and strike Teresa down.
Nothing that exciting happens this episode, although Clare does finally speak. It was touching how young Clare was the one giving Teresa strength, and how Teresa was willing to finally break the rules for what she believed in. The Organization also came off as rather arrogant, expecting Teresa to simply accept her punishment. Unfortunately, things never work like that.
Clare mentions that whatever is on Teresa’s torso looks painful. It would seem that the Claymorization process is not done by skilled plastic surgeons.

The bandit leader was a real dumbass, boasting about his sword and swordsmanship. I cheered when Teresa gave him the smackdown. Though it would have been even better if Signum had shown up to put his Laevantein imitation to shame!
Haha, mass beatdown at the hands of Signum, Ivy, and Renji.
All the bandits were pretty much like, “Huh, why does it feel like half my body is about to slide off at a 60° angle? Blarrrrgggghhhohwhataworld!”
I wonder what he was thinking. You don’t go into a fight wearing a red shirt.
I liked the flight scene albeit it could have been a bit longer and better as in Macross, for example. Do you think we can expect any air battle?

Amen to that. If only he had worn an evening gown, he’s still be alive.
Yes, and I’d be asking where to download episode 7 of BanditLeader. That show has an awesome soundtrack!
Lack of pasta, I guess.
the best episode so far!
The bandit leader’s boasting scene comes straight out of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, if anyone is old enough to remember watching that great movie.
Yup, cocky show-offs deserve what they get.
