Unlucky Director

ANN reports:

Kyoto Animation posted a notice on its website that says it decided to replace Yutaka Yamamoto as director of the Lucky Star moe comedy television series with Yasuhiro Takemoto due to performance issues. Yamamoto’s last episode, episode 4, has just aired on April 29, while episode 5 is still scheduled to run on May 6 with Takemoto directing.

WTF?! Changing directors is all the rage these days!

Performance issues eh…is the reaction in Japan that lukewarm?

It’s still better than simply increasing the clock rate.

Having Ellis next to your computer would prevent any heat issues from messing with your hardware.

Sure, but my software might harden and mess with my concentration.

I’ve read the real reason was that he kept most jokes for himself and was trying to sell them.
