Eh, I don’t usually do this but I got an email from Darren asking if I would spread the word. It actually sounds like a nice opportunity, so I’ll play along.
Darren is looking for some staff members to help contribute to his site by writing anime articles. Since nobody works for free, he’s offering some tangible rewards, including free webhosting, and a subdomain at amexd.com. You can read more about the give and take at his site.
Anyway, this is just an alternative to the free webhosting you can get at animeblogger.net (which Maestro has done some great things with), and some of you writers out there may want to give it a try. I know many don’t want to deal with all the rigors of managing your own blog, and sometimes it is easier to be part of a team where someone else deals with all the quirks of the CMS and blog management.
I should mention I really don’t know Darren at all, and I have no idea what exactly will go into being a staff writer. But he sent a friendly email and it did sound like a nice opportunity that I figured some readers might be interested in. Let me know if any of you try it and like/dislike it.
