According to ANN, Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan will be “made into an anime for the second time.” Huh??? This isn’t like that horrible Negima fiasco where the art was total crap that even the mangaka was ashamed of. Bokusatsu Tenshi had pretty decent art; it was just too little crazy and too much stupid at the end. It doesn’t sound like this will be a sequel either, but I find it odd that they would consider redoing such a recent series that didn’t have that much story to go off of.
In my mind, I always consider Soukou no Strain to be an alternative timeline to Bokusatsu Tenshi.

Dokuro-chan was the vilest anime I have ever seen, putrid, repetitive and dumb. I saw a few reviewers making comparisons with other comedies before it, where actual humor was used in a similar setting. And as expected, when something is so bad, someone will go for it. With studios reaching further and further into crevices of society for niche audiences, things like this production are bound to happen. Just think, 50 to 60 new shows compete for eyeballs each season. Some TV exec is bound to bet on Dokuro-chan in such situation.
I thought Dokuro-chan was pretty funny myself. But I like stupid humor. I doubt they’d make a tv animation. OVA seems like a more realistic guess at this point.
I suppose I could understand them releasing another 4 OVAs (really just 4 sets of double episodes). The “story” didn’t really conclude, although the plot was just an excuse for tons of gore, fanservice, and odd stupidity (which was pretty hit or miss).
However, they really made it sound like it was going to a TV animation the way X was made into a series. Maybe I am just reading it wrong.
I thought it was gonna be a sequel. What could they remake? Less gruesome versions of her bokusatsu? Or maybe add more than 6 episodes? hmm
What they SHOULD do is make more Guu… forget Dokuro-chan…
Agreed Epi , although a dokuro chan with less beatings would be interesting as I liked the story and characters in beating angel , although not the repetetive slapstick. the halo removing giving angels explosive diohreah still makes me chuckle. GUUUU …. just what are you? guu-sama , leave my chest hair alone!
