Silly palace life goes on, as Touka continues to be paranoid and trail Hakuoro 24/7, and Karura gets her pre-party on before it’s even lunchtime. Everyone’s feeling a little frisky, from Oboro having a hot drunken threesome with the archer twins, to Karura rubbing up against Hakuoro, to Eruru grinding hard for the emperor (so hilarious how she started wagging her tail furiously). Thanks to Benawi being forced to sign all the official documents (clearly punishment for the early episodes), Hakuoro has plenty of time to just lounge around, and even purchase a rare Mikyuum. Its liver can cure any disease, so Oboro wants it for Yuzuha. However, Yuzuha doesn’t want to get better at the creature’s expense, and so Aruru names it Gachatara and the Imouto club adopts another furry pet.
Meanwhile, mysterious emperor Kuuya of the Shakukoporu tribe keeps coming back to talk with Hakuoro. She is amazed at all that he has accomplished with the mere force of his mojo, and wonders if he is a lazy emperor with many wives. Hakuoro assures her it’s not the case, and the childish Kuuya reveals that she is actually a young girl with floppy bunny ears. She then gets on her high horse to talk about how Witsuarunemitea is a false god who overthrew the true Onkami, Onbitaekayan.
Oh yeah, and something large and dark is moving around the forest at night. And there was more Kamyu fanservice.
This was another fluffy episode, but the Evinkuruga jokes were amusing. You know that Genjimaru is only watching Kuuya cause of how cute she is, and I bet he has little Hello Kitty trinkets on his sword hilt. Also amusing was how excited Eruru got when Hakuoro praised her grinding, and how Hakuoro had a man-moment with Oboro to mentally convince Oboro to down that gross concoction.
Speaking of Oboro, I can’t believe he got smashed and sexxored Dorii and Gura! While the images were not definitive because we didn’t see boobs, it seems pretty clear that they are twin sisters at this point (although it would be hilarious if they were boys). Meanwhile, I’m sure all this talk about true and false gods will end up being important in the later episodes. There was a lot of tension in this episode, but by tension I mean sexual tension.

By this episode, Oboro has been defeated by every single member of Team Hakuoro:
-Punched by Hakuoro (ep. 4) and forced to drink crappy medicine (ep 17)
-Benawi kicked his ass (ep. 3, 16)
-Kurou too (ep. 5)
-Touka beat the shit out of him (12)
-Eruruu “poisoned” him (ep 17)
-The twins date raped him (ep 17)
-Aruruu called his bluff (ep 17)
-The sheer force of Yuzuha’s disappointment fell him down (ep 17)
Oh, Karura and the wing people haven’t touched him. But then again, I think it’s pretty obvious what would happen.
despite Oboro’s craptacular skillz and ability to lose seemingly at will (not his, but any other hero units) it is quite impressive that he is the only one besides hakuoro with a harem. they be solely two, and androgynous, and probably in the dominant position, but even so – I’d say he has a harem.
Well… Oboro can take solace in that he is still useful as a stealth unit.
I’m starting to like Touka a lot, I must say. She’s 2 step under Karura and 1 step under Kamyu in my very personal chart, because she’s 100% clumsy when not in “battle mode”. Oboro still tastes tofu-ish to me, even after that weird threesome (?). I had some hardo-gay-vibes (chills) about it , to be honest! Fits the guy (Oboro), but …brrr…(creeps)
The sexuality of the archer twins is seriously in question. Until the very last episode, only females had tails. Plus, when the “spy” brought trinkets for the “ladies”, the archer twins tried them on too. Is there any other evidence?

Its a fact they are male But I understand why some people would like them to be female. Also its perfectly ok to pretend they are female however the keyword being pretend. I dont understand why people are even arguing about this. Everybody knows they are male. Just some people like the idea of them being female better and start comming op with ”proof”.

I guess some people dont want to acknowledge them as male becouse than they would have to acknowledge some yaoi hinting and some people are so dead against yaoi they would rather fool them selfes with lies that to acknowledge the truth. (most of them being male who jerked of on the twins and dont want to think about the fact they jerked of on boys ). I find those guys very childish and naive. They are just very homophobic (ore the truth gets in the way of their fantasy). Also if you are a real anime fan you would know that there are manny anime’s out there with guys who look like girls. Its not uncommen better yet its very populair. I knew they where male from the first moment I saw them. I didnt even know about the game. I was surprised that people were debating on it. Than I noticed that most of people who call them female where anti yaoi fan boys. Than it all made sense, there is no real debate about them being male ore female. There are those who know and acknowledge the truth and there are those in denial. What we see on all those debate sites is the ones who see reality trying to show those indenial the truth. Now Im trying to do the same on a few sites.
Im not telling you fanboys that you cant see them as girls. If you want to see them as girls go right ahead. I just found out guys do have tails they are just smaller. (On official dvd artwork there is this pic with the guys in a onsen, you see the twins and the others but you also see Benawi with a small tail)
Children all have tails (in the anime itself there where young boys with tails).
Now all girls have long tails (well girls that are dog/cat etc like anyway bunny etc of course dont have long tails at all) but guys seem to be different. Most guys have smaller tails but some have longer tails. Thats the one thing that still confuses me. In the anime there are child boys with long tails. Maybe boys start with long tails and as they grow older the tail becomes smaller. (this is just a guess the only thing that is a fact concerning male tails is that they have them, how and why some are long and others small are just guesses , if you know why please tell me)
Well anyway becouse the tail is a vulnerable place most guys hide them under their clothes. Woman/girls cant hide their tails onder their clothes (well they could but that would be verry uncomfortable) becouse their tails are to long.(again, if they arent bunny etc)
Thats why you keep seeing the girls with tails and most guys not.
And about the twins, Now that the tail puzzle is (mostly) solved and we know both sexes have tails we can no longer asume they are female becouse they have tails. (And that kinda means there is no proof left for them being girls becouse the only ”believable” proof they (the twins are girls supporters) had was that the twins where girls becouse they have tails and only girls have tails.)
Also the proof of them being girls becouse they like jewelry is (for lack of a better world) lame.
There are plenty of guys/boys that like jewelry. Also in plenty of other anime’s ore even games there are male charcters who not only wear jewelry (something the twins dont do even if they like jewelry) but also wear womans clothing (something you dont see the twins do either).
Yet all these ”the twins are female becouse they like jewelry” people seem to suddenly forget that little fact. That ore they arent really familiar with anime/manga and anime like games.

Dori and Gura are twin archers serving under Oboro. There are several ways to tell them apart. For one, Dori has purple eyes while Gura’s are blue. Also, the bottom part of Dori’s clothes are blue while with Gura they are red. They are very androgynous, and as such their gender is difficult to ascertain, even by other characters. It should be noted that in the game, they reveal they are male. When Hakuoro comments on the “twin girls” Oboro is traveling with, his statement confuses Oboro, and Oboro reveals to Hakuoro the twins are boys. Hakuoro is stunned and thinks Oboro is joking, but Oboro says “I don’t joke about things like this.” Dori and Gura both offer to take off their clothes to prove to Hakuoro they are indeed male, but Hakuoro becomes flustered and dismisses their offer, though after they leave he mutters to himself that he “did kinda want to check…”, which results in his being teased by an eavesdropping Eruru.. lol haha yeah… It is still cool though.. hah
