Dang, I was reading the most recent Suzuka manga volumes, and Suzuka has to be one of the hardest to please girlfriends ever! I guess it’s not surprising, considering what she was like in the beginning, but she is so far out of that n00b Yamato’s experience range, that it is painful to watch him flounder about, trying to discern where the next attack will come from. I’ll be damned if she hasn’t turned off her fog of dating!
I’m still really enjoying the series, because it’s rare that we get to see what happens after the “chase”. The manga really illustrates how much hard work has to go into sustaining a young relationship. Especially when hot girls keep trying to get you to grope them on the rebound!

Chapter 116 has titties. And everyone knows titties pantsu = win. Too bad it’s not Miki tho .. cause Miki = teh win.

For those who temporarily dropped the series and plan to come back: Recently there was a legacy torrent of all scanlated chapters up to 115 on Tokyotosho. And even the latest one (116) is already scanlated, too.
The early chapters after the anime ending were getting increasingly repetitive (and Suzuka herself is barely tolerable at times), but the latest arc was brilliant. I’m convinced by now that someone is using real-life experiences now, the developments ring oh soooo true.
And now that the story has broken free into the open again, I’ll enjoy the delicious opportunities. Someone get back Honoka

T_I: It’s as we discussed before: I think that Yui ain’t really that bad, it’s just that she’s in love, a bit clumsy and fairly straightforward, but not a bad person. What you hate about her is her graphic design, admit it ^_^ – Seo Kouji is so utterly in love with this one that it’s almost sad.
My gut tells me that we’ll have Honoka reappearing within the next 5-6 chapters. And when she does, the bottle of champagne in my fridge will pop open ^_^
Not that I expect her to immediately lay claim on Yamato again. Preferably she’ll have gained alot of confidence by then due to her modeling work, so that I can dust off my personal worship altar for her with even more fervor.
Poor Miki (still my favorite character in the entire show). The way I see it, she will play the most ungrateful role of Akane from KimiNozo. I pity her ^_^;

Hmm, I can’t quite see that her personality is so bad. It may be more simple than most other girls, but she’s neither unrealistic, nor can I find a real reason to openly dislike her (though this is obviously different for you). One trick utility purpose – well okay, I guess you do have a point there. On the other hand, she didn’t get THAT much real screentime so far, so I still give her some chances to develop into more than she is now. After all, I believe that she’ll have ample opportunity in the future to chip away on his defenses *grins*
We certainly have seen a lot of Yui so far… ba dum cha!
I am also kinda miffed that Yui looks like “bizarrro Suzuka”.

Hm? It was a conscious decision NOT to buy a computer. He decided to CUT his relationship with Suzuka. Therefore, in a way, a computer would only undermine his decision.
Of course he could have read Sea Slugs, on the other hand…

in 117, seems like Yamato has the CHANSU of HIS LIFE to raise from deepest hell (Suzuka) to paradise (Honoka). Sorry Yui – even showing the goods to Yamo didn’t work out – that’s the way he is.

If I were Yamato, I would have had Korean BBQ with Miki, but with Suzuka as the main dish. Yeah, this girl is good only in small chunks, well-done and with spicy sauce. I hope she doesn’t return from USA at all, and let Yamato stay happily with Honoka, or (better) with his chibi-harem (Honoka, Miki, and – why not? – Yui).
I was thinking he could just play galges all day. Also, I was musing to myself how hilarious a Yamato personal blog would be (as inspired by Zyl’s awesome Honoka diaries). It would be so emo and retarded, that the unintentional comedy would just be off the charts. I can see the header now, “Ambushed by boobs, must quit job and throw money away”.
Hahahahaha, ohmigod I was giggling uncontrollably at the idea of a badly animated second season with more ridiculous engrish t-shirts.
