Pompous Imperial Messenger Count Mott, the Wave visits Osman with a warning about Fuuke, the Crumbling Dirt. It seems that Fuuke is very likely the green-haired chick in the OP and she is after the school’s treasure, the Staff of Destruction. Osman’s got several Square-class sorcerers guarding the Staff, however, and turns his attention to harassing Ms. Longueville.
Siesta finds Saito at the fountain and shows him how to wash silk panties. She thanks him, and later he finds out that Count Mott specifically annexed Siesta to be his mistress. Saito goes to retrieve her, and the only thing that Count Mott wants is the Zerbst family treasure, a special summoned book that Kirche’s grandfather bought off some mysterious guy. Kirche and Louise help Saito out, and Kirche agrees to give up the book, allowing Saito to retrieve Siesta (and even get a kiss form Siesta). It is then revealed that this family treasure that was given to Kirche as a “wedding tool” is really just an old Japanese pr0n magazine.
I was intrigued that Saito’s rune does not react with just any sword; perhaps he needs to be in contact with a magical sword. This would explain his powers when holding Guiche’s sword, and Derflinger. It was nice that Saito refused to whore himself out to save Siesta, but what better excuse to have a harem do you need? However, his relationship with Siesta is really getting stronger by leaps and bounds.
Kirche was amusing this episode, using food, swords, and trinkets to try to lure in Saito. I liked her confidence in explaining that she didn’t need the ero-magazine to turn men on, but this ero-magazine is an important link to Earth! Also, I am starting to think that Louise likes it when Saito is so bad, because she has a thing for S&M.

In the next episode we’ll see Louise tactfully introduce Saito to the gimp suit with the vague excuse that it is his punishment for assaulting the noble.
S&M aside I think it’s odd that there is no romantic tension between Louise and Saito, because I thought that was the obvious pairing(Shana style, like others have pointed out already). Maybe they are not following the same old mold? I wish..
It’s probably the bastard child of Shana, Pothead and Suzuka. Yes, three parents. Be scared.

Loved this episode. This anime is my favourite of this summer after honey and clover2. Ima want to watch ep5 right now!^^
