I have no comments on the former, but Sara from School Rumble pops to mind on the latter.
Next up: tsundere cafe. They splash the water in your face and dump the crappy yakisoba in your lap… and invite you back to their place for a change of clothes.

How about a Sis-con Themed Cafe? The idea of dozens of girls calling me Onii-chan creeps me out, but others seem to find it appealing.

This is more than enough for me to go LOL or commit acts of terrorism in Japan. Probably more of the former.
Or they only bring you your food after a long wait, then reluctantly hand it to you while blushing and saying “I’m only giving you this because it’s my job, not because I like you or anything…”
I think Jeff should file for a patent or something on this Tsundere Cafe idea.
THE HORRORS
Running with T_I’s comment about needles in food, Killer Loli Cafe. Main item on the menu, Chinese-style steamed buns. Filling depends on who visited the cafe yesterday.
