Vincent has made it safely onto an abandoned train, and he collapses. He’s got blood on his hands and he lapses into a familiar dream. In the dream, he keeps trying to look into the face of a mysterious man, but he can’t. Clouds and fiery streaks race around Vincent, but all he can think about is the sadness.

Meanwhile, everyone is searching for Vincent. Real wants to know if he saw anything in her bathroom, and Raul wants to shut Vincent up for good. Vincent is on the run from the law, and feels like Real is the only one he can trust. While he’s running, he happens upon Pino, the pet-type Autoreiv from before. She’s somehow connected to this mystery, and she leads him to the plug vent (via the same route as the Cogito-infected Autoreiv from before). Real tries to talk some sense into Vincent, but then the police show up and Vincent thinks Real has betrayed her. As he escapes out into the barren wasteland (which looks a lot like his dream), his eyes seem to change, and Real captures a chilling glimpse just before the door is closed.

This was another extremely confusing episode, but I was gripped by the mystery. Although it feels somewhat familiar, the mystery surrounding Vincent is a real pull. All of the major characters feel like they have their own mysteries and secrets, and hopefully each episode will continue to reveal more about how they are all connected.

Of course Pino was like insanely cute in this episode. I couldn’t help thinking perhaps that she was an Alice-in-Wonderland-esque symbol. Pino’s crazy strong, too! As for what connection Vincent has with the long-haired proxy… dang, maybe the Hulk theory has legs T__T.

You do realize that Pino is nobody else but the T-1000, don’t you?

As much as I like this show, I find this episode a bit streched out. I mean, it was all about this chase after Vincent, ended in a fairly “classic” way. The words Vincent said to Real before jumping into vacuum space were kinda strange: “I’m happy I heard your voice one last time”. ????

Pino was overwhelmingly kawaii in this ep.A little pearl in the animation department.

Actually Pino reminded me much more of Lain in her bear suit PJs. Both those cases are Kawaii Fur > Singapore Police Force!! :)

Why I have this feeling that Real is an android?

Because she’s pale and strong enough to lift Vince “Big Baby” Law? Her last name should have been McCoy though. Really.

as the reviewer suggested, pino dressing up as a cute rabbit is probably some reference to ‘down the rabbit hole’ in alice in the wonderland. leading vincent to a different reality or dream….

Her name could be a reference to Pinocchio. Maybe she becomes real in the end?

If she becomes Real (..man, I refuse to call リル that) that would be uber-confusing though…

And I don’t think that suit was a bear, rabbit or cat one… it was a cabbear.
