Yuuji uses another explosion of Power of Existence (PoE) to get free from Wilhelmina, and Shana finally intervenes on his behalf. To prevent the Flame Hazes from getting into a naked mud-wrestling match, Alastor lies and says that Yuuji is somehow useful still. Yuuji’s theory about the remaining osprey decorations is considered, and everyone heads down to watch the decorations burned.
Of course the bonfire activates the blue insignia again, and Serei-den comes through the portal. Wilhelmina doesn’t want to take them head on and immediately aggros Yuuji. Sydonai blocks the first attack, and then Shana blocks the second one… with her stomach. Oops, teamkill. As Shana lies bleeding in Wilhelmina’s arms, Sydonai escapes with Yuuji in his clutches.
This was supposed to be an important episode, but I was a bit bored by it. I was amused that Yuuji told Kazumi that wangst is what makes him human, and that her lovu lovu plan actually inspired him to want to leave. Really Marjorie needs to just sneak into Serei-den and backstab stupid Hecate already. That girl annoys me for some reason.
Also, Shana’s logic is really incomprehensible.

You know what would have made this the greatest episode of anything ever?
If Kazumi had grabbed her pendant, held it up and yelled “RAGING HEART, SET UP!”
And then proceeded to Starlight Breaker everyone involved.
