Tired from all the slapping, Suzuka heads home all wet and bedraggled. Yamato has to tell Miki about what happened, but decides not to apologize to Suzuka. As he tells Yasunobu, he doesn’t feel he did anything wrong. Yasunobu is rather unsure, however, and wonders at what kind of mad skillz this Tsuda has. Naturally this unease has adverse effects on Yamato and Suzuka at track practice.
After practice, Honoka apologizes to Suzuka about their catfight, as Miyamoto finally filled her in about Tsuda. Honoka has decided to quit the track team, and tells Suzuka to go to Yamato. Suzuka decides to follow Honoka’s advice, and when Yamato goes to yell at Suzuka for visiting Tsuda’s grave, she calmly tells Yamato that he’s invited to come along. There, in front of the gravestone, Suzuka tells Tsuda that she has fallen in love with Yamato. The next day, we see a sweet scene where Suzuka waits for Yamato in the morning, and the two of them hold hands for the first time.
Although not action-packed, I liked how they wrapped up the series. They left just enough of it open-ended (with Yuka remarking that now the hard part begins), and even tossed in one last engrish shirt. I thought they handled the grave scene perfectly, especially with Yamato thinking about how beautiful Suzuka’s eyes were when she was looking only at him.
So Yamato’s luck runs through to the end and he gets the girl. He’s got some serious karma, because the girls were close to lynching him when they found out that he had molested his second girl of the series. No means no, Yamato!

I was quite pleased with how they ended the series too! I don’t suppose we can hold out any hope for a second season so we can see more of the manga edited. If that miracle does happen, let’s also hope for better animation.
What did you think of the series ending on the grave shot? I didn’t think it really fit, should have just ended with them walking off holding hands together…
Imagine if it ended with a scary image of Tsuda’s ghost whispering that he’d get revenge? I think that would have really changed the tone of the ending!

i liked the ending. thought it was good, ‘n if they did have a next series, it should be called ‘honoka’ that should be interesting
I liked the series. But i dunt like Suzuka one bit. I rly think that Honoka and Yamato were better off together. I mean Suzuka treated Yamato like a crap. i dunt think Suzuka deserves Yamato at all.
Too bad there’s no harem ending… Suzuka, Honoka, Miki, Nana the idol, landlady Ayano-san and her daughter Miho-chan, the drinking duo Yuuka and Megumi, and last but not least the newspaper/cable tv/peddler lady. They sleep with him after beating Arima’s ass on the tracks. The other guys get jealous.
A great premise for a great hentai anime.

It’s so kawaii~ It never fail to give me this tingling sensation inside everytime I watch it. >3 Inspite of the cuteness of the last episode, I was quite not satisfied with it. I dunno..It’s just that..bleah~ Maybe I was just hoping for more Suzuka/Yamato moments. *sigh* Oh well. 5 thumbs up for the series yosh! >D
yeah, dont really like Suzuka. After hindering herself to Yamato, she suddenly says that she’ll go out with him. He was treated so badly by Suzuka. I like Honoka better.
I’m pretty sure everyone just wanted Miki for himself.
Suzuka is one crazy bitch. The series was basically Love Hina My Sassy Girl. Except Suzuka was my psycho than any female lead ever. The best ending would be Yama fucking Miki, and Suzuka walking in. =)

It was so ashamed..I thought it could be Yamato and Honoka..But I guess I was wrong..But still, for that ending I could have Honoka..hehehe..lucky for me
i wish there is another episode because yamato is not yet no.1 at running and there is no wedding event.
Well, it wouldn’t be solved in just another episode, as in the manga there has not really been ultimate success yet for Yamato in running nor romance. Not to say that either won’t happen, but it has been several chapters now and Yamato is still on the grind.
I thought the ending was pretty good, he got what he wanted. But I feel bad for Honoka, she deserved to be with the guy 100 times more. Suzuka mistreated the guy so badly, slapping him, being rude to him and other mean things. Tham it!! but it cant be helped, the guys heart is for suzuka no matter what.

but i see that so one sad they did not like Suzuka one bit i am gone to say this i new how it was gone to end and i do think there better off together then not together and as for Yamato and Honoka i think it was the best thing i really did not like it wine they where going out bc of the true feeling of love i new it was not gone to last long bc Yamato heart was with Suzuka the hold time it the prower of true love you can fight it and hate it all you what but it well all was win in the end but as for a sea 2 i think it would be much better if it show them togeter and Honoka with what was his name lol k something he really like her
i liked the ending but i cant help feel bad for honoka shes so cute and innocent it would of been cool if yamato had like another friend that went with her not that minor character guy kowa whatever and did yamato just trash the little dog thing on his cell that honoka gave him cause after they broke up it was still there and you didnt see him take it off but the next episode it was gone.
They could have at least fixed all of the loose ends for this anime like what everyone does after all that happens and where suzuka and yamato go to.
i loved this anime personally, it was a great show and i realy liked how they finally got together but if only it ended with them holding eachother and kissing while sakura petals flew by lol im just like that but it was great and im hoping there will be a season 2 where there both together and yeah honoka was cute but it was a bit selfish even though she knew yama was into suzuka all along. anyway i liked it, very emotional 10/10 if you have a problem with this post txt me on 0425303673
