Shana’s powered up quite a bit, and they continue to practice holding hands at night before midnight so that Yuuji’s energy will be restored. That night, Shana gets her first taste of dorama, and of course this brings up lots of awkward questions, especially regarding kisses. Naturally it comes up the next day in the girls’ shower, and Shana goes to Yuuji’s mom for advice. Chigusa proves quite sage in telling her a kiss between the lips is like an oath to make a pact. Alastor won’t have this and calls up Chigusa to forbid such discussions; unfortunately he is no match for her and gets totally owned (or shall we say, momxored) in the parenting department.
Across town, twincest is searching for Shana and setting up traps. Sorath speaks about her orgel (music box) and cradle, and old guy Sydonai watches more twincestual face-sucking. Just when they sense something, it turns out to just be energy output by a super-shopping Marjorie. Marjorie’s toadies want to fight, but Marco informs them that Marjorie is no match for Sorath and Tiriel.
The plot movement was nice, and there was good character interaction, but the best part of this episode was Alastor. It was hilarious how he kept trying to bling threateningly at Chigusa, and then talk to her on the phone as “Arusu Toru”. At least they didn’t have him come to the house as Chiyo-Chichi… However, look at this setup; I don’t know about you, but I don’t think Alastor’s intentions are pure! And it was rather strange that Shana didn’t have to bring Alastor with her to school that day while he spent the morning on the… personal massager.

Chigusa completely and totally pwned Alastor.
Speaking of Chigusa, anyone else think she’s FAR more than she seems?
I’ve been wondering that ever since she had all those Shana-sized clothes. She could just be a super mom, but there’s gotta be some kinda mysterious backstory at least.
Who knows? Although I’m very sure she’s simply just a ‘super-mom’, though the just word seems to be used out of context…=P
Nice episode there. A little more character development, and a small build-up to the next conflict by introducing the twincesting twins more.
I’m not sure how accurate this might be, but Alastor seems to have a much higher opinion of Chigusa after the talk, to the point that he actually respected her. He probably realised that there are some things he couldn’t give/teach to Shana and Chigusa is the perfect person to fill the gap. Just my 2 cents, of course ^^.
