We finally get to the showdown with Pierrot judging the various breads, and Kazuma barely makes it in time for the judging with his mysterious black bread. Pierrot at first said that Kazuma had disqualified his bread since he didn’t bake the bread under his observation. Luckily, the King of Monaco interveins and tells how he was responsible for Kazuma coming late to the competition, but fortunately, in the limo which he and Kazuma came in, there was a built in kitchen, so Kazuma was able to bake his bread. Thus, the King asked Pierrot that Kazuma let his bread enter since it wasn’t Kazuma’s fault for arriving late. Pierrot asked Kayser Gran if that was acceptable, and Gran agreed to let Kazuma submit his bread since he was also curious of what it contained.
The rest of the episode pretty much was a smorgasborg of ingredient descriptions from each bread and how they would benefit the driver, and Pierrot continuously used Kawachi as a prop for all of Pierrot’s reactions and gags. Although Kayzer’s bread had some good ingrediants beneficial for the body, Kazuma’s bread won out at the end due to the fact that it had the best ingrediant/flavor combination.
